About This Product
The Avalon Countertop Hot/Cold Water Cooler has an innovative design and easy-to-use paddle spouts. The highly efficient compressor makes the cold water ice cold at approximately 47° F without needing ice cubes. The hot faucet provides hot water at approximately 185° F, and a child safety lock is included. A built-in nightlight enhances visibility, and the machine is bottle-less with NSF certified activated carbon and sediment filters that purify tap water by eliminating chlorine, lead, rust, and bacteria. A leak detector automatically monitors the water flow, and the dispensing area is 10x2.5x9.5 inches with 7.5 inches of space below the spouts. The water cooler is UL listed and can be connected directly to an existing sink water line, with all necessary parts included. The unit dimensions are 12x12x19 inches.

Do I have to use the flush head or can I just flush the filters through the unit?

Hello, This model, B8, does not have the self cleaning option. The A8 model will have this feature.
Do this product have option for room temp water ?
Hi, This unit does not have a room temperature option. The only way this unit will produce room temperature is if you leave the hot or cold switch in the off position. This will prevent the unit from heating or cooing the water, allowing room temperature water to dispense.
Are the filters included with the purchase?

Does the filtration system remove salts from water? Calcium, magnesium, etc? The calcium in particular tends to create deposits on containers when it is heated.

The Avalon 3-Temperature Self Cleaning Bottleless Countertop Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47°F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is approximately 185°F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. The tanks hold 1 l of hot water and 3.6 l of cold water. There is a built-in nightlight making the water spouts clearly visible in the dark. The dispensing area is 12 in. x 3 in. x 10 in. with 9 in. of space below the spouts. This will accommodate most large cups or bottles. This water cooler is bottle-less with an NSF certified activated carbon filter and a sediment filter with a water line that can be attached to your water source. The filters will purify the tap water eliminating any chlorine, lead, rust and bacteria. There is also a built-in leak detector. We have incorporated a self-clean ozone function which will automatically clean the machine's water tank with the injection of ozone by the press of a switch. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. All parts necessary for installation are included.
