Questions & Answers
What size is the trim plate
The wall flange for the handle on the Vedra model #8P8-WS2-VEDGS is 7” in diameter.
Does this come with the overflow cover?
The Vedra tub and shower #8P8-WS2-VEDB doesn’t include a waste and overflow drain assembly and would be a separate purchase. The matching waste and overflow is model #018-310B for a Matte Black finish. This item may need to be special ordered through Home Depot if unavailable online. Please get in touch with Home Depot directly for order placement details, product availability, shipping, and pricing.
what is the warranty?
Pfister faucets come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for most parts and/or products relating to mechanical or finish issues for the original purchaser of the product. Please get in touch with our Pfister Support Team at 1-800-732-8238 if warranty support is needed.
Can I add any other brand hand shower or change the shower head in the future? Can I use any other brand?
Yes! The threads on the shower arm are standard, and any other showerhead with standard threads will work.
How do you change the shower head settings? I was trying to change it to the full instead of massage.
The showerhead settings can be adjusted by turning the lever. The 6 o'clock position is the full spray setting. If you're not getting the full spray setting, please call our Support Team at 1-800-732-8238 for assistance with your showerhead.
Do any addional parts need to be purchased to complete installation if just replacing existing parts but in a different color?
Pfister Vedra model #8P8-WS2-VEDB is a complete kit with a rough-in valve. If you currently have a Pfister model with the 0X8 series valve installed, you may be able to replace just the trim. If you don’t have a Pfister model, the rough-in valve included will also need to be replaced to use with the new trim. If you have another manufacturer rough-in valve, the handle trim will not work with other manufacturer valves.
When you are taking a shower should there be water leaking at the back of the tub spout running down the tile back into the tub? Why is there a hole at the bottom of the spout when it is screwed on?
There shouldn't be any water leaking in the back of the spout, and the tub spout may need to be replaced. The hole is an access hole for the set screw to tighten the tub spout's quick connection. Pfister supports a Limited Lifetime Warranty for most parts and/or products to the original purchaser of the product. Please get in touch with our Pfister Support Team at 1-800-732-8238 for assistance with troubleshooting to qualify your warranty and replacement parts.
Does the showerhead swivel up and down and sideways?
Yes! The shower head swivels on a ball joint from side to side and up and down to adjust the direction of the flow.
