About This Product
The reverse osmosis membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. As a result, a standard 5-stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below. PureDrop PDR-FA15 alkaline water filter produces alkaline water with restored healthy minerals such as natural calcium, magnesium, and other trace metal ions, which balances the RO water and increases the pH value of your RO water by 0.5 to 1.2. These ions are structurally smaller molecules that help the body take in more water and replenish lost water quickly. It also makes the water taste better. These restored minerals will slightly increase the TDS value as well, normally between 10-20 ppm. This alkaline water filter is typically installed with reverse osmosis systems to complement their absolute filtration quality.
