Questions & Answers
How many gallons dose 48oz make?
For standard deep cleaning, the dilution ratio typically requires adding 2 ounces of formula per gallon of water. Based on this standard ratio, a 48oz bottle of concentrate will make up to 24 gallons of ready-to-use cleaning solution.
Is this an enzymatic cleaner?
No, the CarpetXpert Deep Clean Pro Formula (EXCM48) is not marketed as an enzymatic cleaner. It is a deep-cleaning formula that removes dirt, stains, and odors and works with StainStriker technology and OXY Multiplier formula, but it does not indicate that it contains enzymes.
Should the shampoo be rinsed out by, having just water in the tank, afterwards in the Carpetxpert?
Not necessary but that is exactly what I do every time with great results. I use the Deep Clean 1 as normal, then after about 5 minutes I return with the tank full of warm water to extract more. Then the dry mode to extract remaining moisture. So clean!
can this be used as a pretreatment andthen rinsed with plain water
Great question! The Deep Clean Pro Formula is designed as a pretreatment for carpets and can be rinsed with water. However, for best results, we recommend using it with the CarpetXpert (EX201), as that unit is specifically designed for optimal performance with this formula.
Is there an unscented formula?
Hello there, Thank you for asking such a great question! Our formulas are lightly scented to help eliminate common household odors such as smoke and pet messes. At this time, we do not offer any unscented formulas.
Can I use with a regular shark upright?
This product is designed specifically for use with Shark Carpet Cleaners models EX150, EX200, EX201, EX201Q, EX205, PX201, PX200, PX201Q, and PX202BRN.
how many square feet does it clean
This varies on what needs to be cleaned.
can this Shark carpet cleaner shampoo be used on an area rug that is part wool, part polyester?
This can be used on most area rugs. With this said, we recommend checking with the manufacturer of the area rug for compatibility.
