Is the Poly painted or is the plastic colored in the manufacturing process?
Hi Andres, Thanks for reaching out with a question. The POLYWOOD furniture is not painted or stained. The furniture is made with HDPE recycled plastic and includes UV-inhibited pigment systems to help maintain the lumber colors throughout the material, not just on the surface. Is the hardware suitable for a sundeck in a saltwater pool?
Hi Joan, Great question! You can use our furniture on the tanning ledge of your pool, but we suggest taking it out of the saltwater when finished and rinsing the furniture with fresh water. There isn’t really wood grain, but there is a light texturing however it’s smooth and not rough texture.
