Hello, Unfortunately, it is not able to be removed. Recommended cleaning procedure: Periodic cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure efficiency, top performance, and long life. Interior Cleaning: Steam 1. Fill a microwave-safe bowl with a mixture of water and a few tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice. 2. Place the bowl in the microwave drawer and heat for 5-10 minutes to create steam. 3. Let the microwave drawer sit for a few minutes after heating. The steam will help loosen dried-on food contents. 4. With a clean cloth, wipe the interior of the microwave drawer until clean. Interior Cleaning: Dish Soap 1. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. 2. Use a soft sponge to remove greasy splatters. 3. With a clean cloth, wipe the interior of the microwave drawer until clean.
