Jontab - Thank you for your inquiry. The TurboGrind Max is a 3-bolt mount and compatible with other 3-bolt mount disposals. We include the mounting system but the installation can use the existing if also 3-bolt. Yes, we would recommend plumber's putty and a flat head screw driver for the replacement

All I needed was a flat head screwdriver, plus a wooden dowel to knock out the dishwasher inlet. If you are using an existing sink mount that's literally all you need.

                    Extra Hand
This Husky garbage disposal installation tool is a great extra hand for holding the disposal close enough to lock it in place without straining a muscle from the awkward angle under the sink. It’s as easy as placing the part that fits into the disposal and using the chain brace to support the unit against the sink basin. The rubber ends are a nice added touch, helping prevent damage to the sink. This may be a tool I only use a few times in my lifetime, but in my opinion, it’s a must-have.

                    Very helpful and well built
This is a handy little tool. The process of using this is easy to understand, even without the well written instructions on the back of the packaging. The addition of the spring on the bottom of the chain is also very helpful to ensure easy installation. The included lifetime warranty is reassuring that this is a quality product and evem if it were to break, I can bring it back with my receipt for an exchange. Overall, I am very pleased with this tool.

                    Good Disposal Tool
Husky Garbage Disposal Installation Tool. This tool is a handy item to have when you must install a disposal by yourself or in tight fit areas. It is easy to use with the simple instructions. Simply install the holder pieces with the chain through the opening in the sink. Simply lift the disposal from above with the chain, and the hook the chain on the included chain holder handle at the height that you require. With the disposal elevated under the sink, install the disposal holder ring under the sink and set the unit in place. The holding handle unhooks from above and hold the chain through the opening in the sink. Maneuver the disposal hook through the top and into the sink. This simple and you are done. Complete the installation from under the sink with the drainpipe and electrical connections are you are good to go. Always DO NOT CONNECT the power, until you are 100% complete and all parts are removed from the disposal. Quick, easy, and simple to use.

Buy this even if you just need it once
I love this tool. Necessity is truly the mother of invention. This thing has one simple but important job. It hangs a garbage disposal in place from above while you can connect it from below. You don’t have to lose one hand holding it up. You don’t have to stack odds and ends under it to support it while you do the work. It just helps out. It’s simple and genius and effective. Insert the toggle into disposal and pull the chain up and lock in into the slot on the cross bar. The disposal just waits there for you to lock into place and make the connection. This tool is going into my plumbing box and will be used every time I have to change a disposal. I recommend this tool to anyone that will ever have to change a disposal-even if it’s just once. I also recommend this tool to anyone in the trades.

Great little tool to for 1 person install
This little tool is a lifesaver. I change disposers at my rental property every few years. At $10 it is much less than the disposal jack, which is large and which you won't need unless you are a plumber and change out disposers regularly. I have for years done without either and it is always a pain to hold the disposer with one hand while trying to latch the bottom of the drain to the disposer. This tool makes it very easy to pull up the disposer onto the sink drain bottom, lock it in place, then go under the sink to twist the disposer lock onto the drain. The only trouble I had was releasing the tool from inside the disposer. I had to put my hand into the disposer to turn the tool so I could pull it out. I am sure you could do it with a pair of needle nose plyers, but I did it quickly by removing the collar that goes into the disposer from the top. Many others can only be removed by removing the disposer from the sink. So I would suggest using a pair of needle nose. Aside from that, dropping the tool into the disposer resting on the cabinet counter, then pulling it up onto the sink drain was easy. Then pulling it tight holding the chain and stretching the spring, then locking the tool handle to the chain provided enough force to keep the disposer held tight to the bottom of the drain until I could go under to lock the disposer onto the drain.

                    Makes the job a breeze.
Who ever thought of this tool is a genius. It makes installing a dishwasher by yourself so much easier. For the price, it is well worth it even if you only use it once or twice and put it back in your toolbox and never use it again. It is also very simple to operate, and gives you just enough assistance to complete the job. I would not try a dishwasher install without it.

                    Handy-dandy Tool
Installing a garbage disposal by yourself can be a frustrating job because the unit is heavy and awkward to hold while you try to line it up and lock the mounting ring underneath the sink. This Husky Garbage Disposal Installation Tool is designed to solve that exact problem, and after using it I can say it makes the process much easier for a single person. The concept is simple but very effective. You drop the hook down through the sink drain from above and connect it to the disposal. The chain then allows you to lift the disposal into place and hold it there while you secure the mounting collar underneath the sink. Instead of trying to support the weight of the disposal with one hand and tighten the ring with the other, the tool holds the unit in position so you can work comfortably. The chain and locking bar hold the tension securely, and the disposal stays right where you need it while you finish the installation. This is especially helpful if you are working alone or installing a heavier disposal. The build quality feels solid and the tool itself is simple enough that there is really nothing to go wrong with it. I also like that it is reusable, so it is something you can keep around for future projects or if you ever replace another disposal. Even if you only use it once, it can save a lot of time and frustration compared to trying to balance the disposal yourself or stacking objects under it to hold it up. The instructions on the packaging are straightforward and the hook, lift, and lock process is easy to understand once you see how it works. Overall this is a smart little tool that does exactly what it is supposed to do and makes garbage disposal installation far easier for a single person. If you are planning to install or replace a disposal yourself, especially without a second set of hands, this tool is definitely worth having.

This is my first time purchasing the Glacier Bay TurbozGrind Max 1hp; the brand works fine and is not noisy at all. The only issue is with the delivery service called "Roadie." It appears to be a third-party service working with UPS. They provided such poor service. They delivered the customer's package to the wrong address and didn't bother to call/text the customer to verify the information, even though my order showed correct delivery information. However, they continued to deliver to the wrong neighbor or an entirely different building. Hopefully, Home Depot and UPS will resolve this issue with their third-party vendor soon.
