About This Product
The Presto Tilt 'n Drain 285 sq. in. griddle is constructed with a non-stick surface, built-in backstop ledge and Cool touch base for extra safety. It automatically controls the appropriate cooking temperature with Control Master heat control and can be fully immersed in water when the heat control is removed. The unique design can be tilted to drain fat away from meats or cook eggs and pancakes on a level surface with pull-out handle controls. An included drip tray offers easy clean-up and disposal.

Can the grill go in a dishwasher
No, it is not difficult to clean. but the drip trays in front retain a lot of what you cook. I have not found a way to keep it 'untilted', so it does nor stay flat. good cooking surface is is BIG, not easy to store.
I have a preset tilt drain that fell off the shelf and the plastic holder is broken. Is there a replacement item I could get? Only used it once but loved it! We made Vietnamese food and it was so good.

Can you cook steaks on this, if so, how do they turn out.
I can’t imagine you couldn’t cook steaks on this. We never have but we’ve cooked plenty of burgers, sausage, eggs, and pancakes and everything turns out perfect.
Steaks cook very well on the Presto® Tilt'nDrain™ electric griddle. Depending on your liking, you would cook a 1" thick steak 6-12 minutes, (rare to medium) and a 1 1/2" steak 8-20 minutes (rare to medium). Our suggested temperature setting is 350-400 degrees. Are presto griddle made in america?
Presto products are manufactured in China. However, the design, marketing, sale, and distribution are all done in the US. Yes I have it for over a week. It works great.
I have this griddle, but need a 3 ft. extension cord and not sure what type to look for. Can you tell me what type extension cord I should buy?
Plugs make end in to outlet then you plug your male piece into the female piece at the end of the cord
If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
