Q:How does this compare with Coax Seal? I want to get that product or something locally available that's just as good before the rain comes on Oct.11.

A: I've never used Coax Seal, but it looks similar in performance to the Temflex tape, although they are applied very differently. I don't care for Coax Seal's vague claims about temperature (any temperature?) and prefer 3M's use of an actual range (32-176F) as it gives me a better idea of where and when to use it.

A: If you want to use it out side in the weather, I would use the Coax Seal.
The 3M electrical tape is very good. But not for wet conditions.
