Answer This Question
A: Frank - Thank you for reaching out to our Technical Support Team. We would need more information to answer your question. This pump is rated by how many gallons of water it can produce at varying heights of the well. We would need to know how many gallons of water each garden hose required as well. This pump is great but if it's going to be used for irrigation, you may need a bigger Pressure tank as this one is only 6 gallons. Please give us a call at 844 242-2475 and we can go over those things with you. -GP Support

Q:Will the Everbuilt 1/2 hp jet pump increase my water pressure? I have low water pressure and need to increase it

Answer This Question
A: DarC - Yes, it should. Some people do use this to increase pressure. I do want to warn though, that a 6 gallon pressure tank is not big enough to run a house on. You're better off buying the pump by itself and trying to get a 20 or 50 gallon pressure tank if you're going to be using this for a home. -GP Support

Q:Can the output be set at 90 psi?
by|Feb 23, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Bruce - The pump only has a max of 67PSI. So, if you set it that high, the pressure tank would push back on the 67PSI coming out of the pump and the pump would never shut off. 67PSI is the max but even then, we recommend that the pressure switch not be set above 60 PSI.

Q:Our house is gravity water from a spring .Will this work as a booster pump to increase pressure for whole house?
by|Oct 21, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Russell - The pump will pull water from a spring, however, remember you still need a check valve and foot valve. However, the 6-gallon pressure tank is not ideal for an entire house. Most houses need a 20-gallon pressure tank and experts even suggest getting a larger one. You should contact a plumber to find out what size pressure tank would be needed for a house your size.-GP Support
