Q:Why does my new pump not turning off?
by|Feb 5, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Eddie - The pump will not turn off as long as water is moving thru it. Some think the pump will automatically shut off as soon as the PSI hits 67. This pump will add 67PSI to whatever is incoming into it The pump will only shut off when there is no water running thru it (Faucets are all off).

Q:What is the output psi for this pump? I need 130psi output for a reverse osmosis system.
    by|Jan 22, 2024
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Maxi - The pump adds an additional 67PSI to whatever is coming in. If you have about 70PSI coming in, you should be able to attain the 130PSI necessary. -GP Support

      Q:What is maximum input pressure
      by|Nov 12, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  TheNextJob - The minimum input pressure is 10PSI. We don't have a maximum but most would not need this for their homes if they were already getting 50PSI or so. -GP Support

        Answer This Question

A:  Harzuaga - We're not sure what the question is, but the pump should be protected from the elements. Normally, it is placed inside. -GP Support

Best little booster pump around. Works better than I could've hoped for. I would recommend it to a friend.

I paid a plumber to install this pump in my new home because the PSI was only 32. This pump only increased the PSI to 100. Two weeks after installation it started to leak from the "O" ring. I had to summon my plumber on a Friday night because it was flooding my home. The plumber came at 10:00 p.m. and found the "O" ring was damaged because the valve was over-tightened by the factory. It has not leaked since, but continues to cause my wife and I uneasiness wondering if it will leak again during the night or when we are not at home!

Works good, had it for about 5 months now. I did put a pressure regulator after the pump output line besides the original one that’s on the water main coming in. This is to keep the house plumbing safe from possible over pressure issues such as my water treatment system.

Product description is inaccurate for what the pump provides. It doesn't regulate PSI to 75 psi but rather adds 60 psi above what you have. It increases my 35-40 psi from well to over 100 psi in my pipes. Very unsafe and needs more info before buying. Would not have bought had I know what it truly does.

Mark E - We never state that this pump regulates to a certain PSI or that it could be adjusted. Some customers buy this and add their own PSI reducer which would then reduce the psi to a certain amount needed. -GP Support

            Terrible product. DO NOT BUY!!!
First of all, as I turned the water on, the prime port plug leaked horribly. Luckily the old pump had a plug with a rubber washer that was the same thread. Secondly, as I turned the water on again, the pressure switch leaked at the bottom screw where the face connects to the body. Even more, DON'T SHOP AT HOME DEPOT. My only option was to return this one and order a new one. They don't do "replacements"... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The pump is working as expected. I installed a pressure...
The pump is working as expected. I installed a pressure regulator before the pump to keep house pressure below 80psi. I will say it takes up a more room than my previous pump because the controller sticks up quite a bite higher than the body of the pump.
