    Q:Can this be installed closed to the joist on a limited clearance to save some ceiling height/headroom? What's the minimum gap between the joist and the grid hanger?

    A:  Thank you for your interest in our Genesis Smooth Pro Vinyl White Ceiling Tiles! Our tiles are relatively thin (just under 2/10") so do not need much clearance to install them in your grid system.           Q:Can the tiles and hangar system be installed on joists in a cathedral (pitched) ceiling following the pitch or do they need to be flat and level?

            A:  Thank you for our interest in our Genesis Ceiling Tiles! For all Genesis tiles we recommend using a skill saw or RotoZip to cut to odd sizes and a hole-saw or RotoZip for sprinkler heads or can lights. The tile can be trimmed with a utility knife.               Q:I saw the comments about stickers on each panel and the difficult removal. Have you changed anything? If not, do you have any tips for removing them?

Some of our tiles are manufactured with stickers on the back of the panels to let the customers know if the tile is a directional tile or not.
