Q:Can’t the ground strap on the right side of the can be used as the equipment ground if this panel is used as a sub panel? It has a separate neutral bar on the left. If I put the bonding screw in can’t that be my equipment ground separate from the neutral?

Q:Does the stores carry the 125 main breaker for this panel

    Answer This Question

A:  It actually depends on the store whether they stock it or not. The THD part # is 153440 (THQL21125P) and you will also need a 585416 (THQLRK3CP) if you want to use as a main breaker for the panel. Thanks for the question.

Q:The model TLM812SCUDP is not listed on the specification drawing. Is the drawing accurate? I want to be sure 1 1/2" knockouts are on it.

      Answer This Question

A:  The drawing is accurate. The P on this model is added for "retail packaging", but the base model is TLM812SCUD. Figure E on the drawing will allow for 1 1/2" knockout. Thank you for your question.

Q:Do the ground and neutral go the same neutral bar?...Don't you bond at the meter and not the subpanel?

        Answer This Question

A:  That rod screwed to back panel is a separate equipment ground. Neutral and ground are NOT bonded for sub panels. MLO models that are not convertable to main breaker should have separate neutral/ground.
