If you look at the pictures online you will see that the pex fitting is milled right up to the body of the shutoff valve, making it near impossible to install incorrectly. However the pieces you buy in store can have a longer collar between the pex fitting and the body of the shutoff. If you are a rookie like me, you can installed the fitting too far into the pipe and the expansion collar will not fully seal. Just make sure you install right up to the end of the fitting and no further.

Putting in a new bathroom and this made the project quick and easy. Solid construction, and no leaks.

Bad experience fits and last time I used these angle stops two out off five leaks from pex joints

These are leaking and we dont know why. We’ve been doing expansion pex (pex-a) all through the basement. This is the first time we’ve had a problem. We tried two different ones out of the six we bought. Any help is appreciated!

Happy to finally get expansion stuff with Home Depot. Best move to boost business with plumbers. Just have to lower the price to whole sale and its game over for plumbing wholesalers.
