Great quality paint and good coverage when used with the proper primer. The color looks fantastic, and based on the behr quality I’m use to it should hold up great. When using on previously stained or sealed cabinets flow the manufacturers instructions and prep the surface as they recommend. I found out the hard way and had to start the process over.

Behr Premium Starless Night Satin Enamel Interior paint is recommended to use a Beher undercoat which I did use on this. The Starless blue is a pretty blue. I painted one post on my steps to my hot tub, and I am going to use a Black Satin on the other post to see which the wife likes the best. The wood was new treated bare wood, by using the under coat it covered in one coat. Behr products are the best paint and the only paint will ever buy.

This is a beautiful, uniquely colored paint. While wet, it looked dark, bluish black, but once it dried, it was a much lighter blue. Either way, it is gorgeous. It's goes on better if you prime first and then apply thin coats of paint (we used two coats) to prevent streaking. It dries quickly and provides a hard, smooth, washable surface that's not easily scratched. Cleanup was easy using just soap and water and there is no harsh odor to contend with. If you have it shipped to you, it is well packed with safety lids to prevent spillage.

I really like the finish from this paint. It’s easy to work with and goes on smooth. I used it for cabinets and trim throughout a home. It did take a few coats. Two to be exact. I primered before hand and that really helped to get a nice smooth finish. One thing I really liked is that it goes on thin so it goes a long ways. It’s actually thinner than I had originally thought. It covers great but I do recommend to get the best finish right before your last coat to lightly sand it and clean and then apply final coat. I was working indoors so dry time was about an hour between coats. But I did have some situations where it dried faster. I let it dry real good so when the doors would close on cabinets or anything like that they wouldn’t stick and so far so good. Cleanup was not too bad pretty much normal like any other paint. I just used water and some soap from my brushes and rollers I just toss. It doesn’t smell bad or have any nauseous fumes. I did apply it to some areas without primer and it still covered good but if you have stains I still suggest primer first. It’s definitely a good paint and worth the money for the results. You get what you pay for. Cabinets and doors are usually some of the toughest things to get to look good when painting so it’s nice to know they have a specific for it now.

Behr premium 1 gal. #12 swiss coffee satin enamel interior cabinet and trim paint covers very well on meduim to light colors on the wall with one coat. For darker colors, two coats may be needed. It resists dirt and mildew and cleans easily with soap and water, it dries to the touch in one hour and door do not stick after two hours. It's ideal for use on cabinets, trim, doors, windows, shutters and woodwork. This product can also be used on other properly prepared and primed substrates, such as drywall, masonry and metal.

The Behr Premium enamel undercoater and the cabinet and trim enamel are a perfect combination for painting , trim, doors, windows, cabinets, and other woodwork. I wanted to repaint a small kitchen table and chairs from dark oak to white and this paint made the job easier and gave me the results I wanted. The undercoater and paint is are easy to apply and dries to touch in 30 minutes or less and can be painted over in one hour. The coverage is excellent and I like that cleanup only required soap and water. Using good quality roller helps achieving a smooth finish.

Easier to apply than some cabinet paints. Some others really need to be rolled or sprayed to give a smooth finish but this can be brushed and it still left a smooth finish. On the other hand, it does need two coats to cover well and a specific primer is recommended. The pictures show how the paint looked on my test section when first brushed on while the other shows the finish after the first coat dried completely. The brush marks are gone and the wood grain still shows. That also means that any repair/patch spots in the cabinet will show if you don't do your finish sanding well. All in all, I like this paint system even though the color came out a bit lighter than I had expected.

I wasn't quite sure what "Swiss Coffee" color Behr Premium Satin Enamel Interior Cabinet and Trim Paint would look like when I ordered it, nor exactly where I was going to use it. It turned out that "Swiss Coffee" is a very nice creamy beige color that would look good on almost any project as trim. This order included matching undercoater so it made a nice combination for my raw 1x4's that needed painting. I was really impressed with the packaging Behr used to ship the paint: each gallon can was supported in a square plastic frame at the top and bottom of the can so they couldn't shift or be damaged during shipment. I was not familiar with Alkyd type paint so I was surprised at how quickly it dried. I was able to apply the undercoat with a brush and the finish coat about an hour later in 65 degree weather without any problem. The the undercoat and top coat are thick but not too thick and spread evenly even with the old brushes that I was using. A good quality nylon brush or short nap roller are recommended and would probably yield even better results than I got. This is really nice paint and I will find lots of other places to use it.

I have used Behr paint for several different jobs. I have always liked the quality. I’m looking to replace the trim in my master bedroom and it’s all going to need to be painted before installation. I always like to test the paint before I actually use it on the item for which I purchased it . As with the Behr paintsI have used in the past, I am pleased to see that this has the same quality. A 1 gallon can covers up to 400 ft.² of coverage. Keep in mind that if doing two coats, you’re only going to get about half that coverage. As you can see by my test piece, the coverage is remarkable. Even after one coat you can barely see the black magic marker on the board. After two coats it’s covered completely. In addition to great coverage I also like the speed with which I was able to use the paint. It dries to the touch in one hour but is able to be recoated after only two hours. Plus, it cleans up with soap and water. The lid comes with a screw off cap that allows you to pour the paint from the can without taking off the entire lid. However, that can be tough to unscrew, especially if you have a touch of arthritis such as I do. Plus, I find these types of lids a little messy when pouring from the can so I just remove the entire lid instead of just unscrewing the cap. If you’re looking for a high-quality paint with excellent coverage, this is the paint you need.

I have used Behr paint for several different jobs. I have always liked the quality. My nephew is doing a bathroom remodel and has promised me the vanity. I selected this product because I know it is going to need to be painted once I receive it. I always like to test the paint before I actually use it on the item for which I purchased it . As with the Behr Products I have used in the past, I am pleased to see that this has the same quality as the exterior paint I used recently. A 1 gallon can boasts up to 400 ft.² of coverage. Keep in mind that if doing two coats, you’re only going to get about half that coverage. As you can see by my test piece, the coverage is remarkable. Even after one coat you can barely see the black magic marker on the board. After two coats it’s literally invisible. In addition to great coverage I also like the speed with which I was able to use the paint. It dries to the touch in one hour but is able to be recoated after only two hours. I also like that it cleans up with soap and water. The lid comes with a screw on cap that allows you to pour the paint from the can without taking off the entire lid. However, that can be tough to unscrew, especially if you have a touch of arthritis such as I do. Plus, I find these types of lids a little messy when pouring from the can so I just remove the entire lid instead of just unscrewing the cap. I cannot wait to get the vanity for my bathroom. This paint is going to make updating it an absolute breeze. If you’re looking for a high-quality paint with excellent coverage, this is the paint you need.

This paint is specially formulated for Interior Cabinets, Doors, and Trim. Most people just use wall paint for cabinets, doors, and trim and are left unhappy with the results. Stains bleed through, doors stick shut, it scratches and chips easily. Using the proper paint and surface preparation is essential to achieve quality, professional results. It is essential that even a painted cabinet or door surface is primed prior to painting so that the new paint can have proper adhesion without any bleed through from the old paint or stains. For this cabinet & door paint BEHR recommend using their BEHR 43701 Alkyd Primer (See Photo). This BEHR Enamel Interior Cabinet and Trim Paint covers nicely, dries quickly, flows and levels evenly without leaving brush marks, and dries to a hard durable finish. You won’t get those results using a wall paint. It cleans up with soap and water. It arrived quickly, well packaged without and damage.

Behr's Premium interior cabinet and trim paint is an excellent quality paint and covers really well. I used the Behr Acrylic-Alkyd enamel undercoater to cover the prepainted surface on an old desk and it covered very nicely the brush marks on the drawer front. Then I used the Behr Bit of Sugar satin cabinet and enamel for the final coat and it looks great. I definitely recommend it as a fine quality cabinet and trim paint.

BEHR PREMIUM 1 Gal. Ultra-Pure White Base Satin Interior Cabinet and Trim Paint. This paint is awesome. I have used BEHR paint throughout our home, but seeing is believing. I painted our garage door and trim with this paint and it only took one coat to cover all the blemishes. I have attached before and after photographs for reference. As you can see the paint did an outstanding job and this was with no undercoat and only one coat applied. Awesome Paint!

My wife and I have used different paints and primers over the years. Some runny, some thick, some bad, but some good. Let me start by saying this cabinet started out gloss black in color, and I thought I may end up having to sand it down to the base, to be able to use it again. I started of course with the Primer. Boy was I surprised. The consistency of the primer was spot on. It covered with ease, and even filled in some imperfections such as scratches and chips. Barely two full coats and the black no longer existed. Now for the paint. It was as amazing to work with as the primer. Perfectly mixed, and a vibrant color. It applied smooth and covered with ease. Not too runny and not too thick. Absolute perfection. Both the primer and paint were very easy to clean out of the brush. And both showed no brush marks during or after applied. Sure saved me time on sanding, and now to put our cabinet back to use. Highly recommended. Looking forward to using again.

Finally a top shelf furniture paint for heavy duty exposure. I needed a simple white for beadboard in a study/bedroom. It's a high traffic area with a lot of wear potential. This paint went on smooth and created a really strong finish. Pro Tip - Make sure you ask for the Behr simple pour spout. The folks behind the counter don't always know to hand them out. They make it very easy to pour paint from the can into trays and buckets. A real help in keeping the paint from getting messy.

This Behr Premium Ultra Pure White Satin Interior Cabinet and trim paint is an excellent paint. I applied it using a paint brush and my paint sprayer. It goes on very smooth and covers very well on this old oak cabinets of 32 years. Since the cabinets were very dry oak wood, I did apply three coats to ensure good coverage. I also purchased new cabinets handles which just accented the new paint. Using this paint has extended the life of this bathroom cabinets making it look new and modern. Very easy to clean up and it was fun to see the changes of this cabinet using this paint. I have placed photos below of before and after painting this piece. I am now thinking about doing my kitchen cabinets next year with this paint. Works great with my paint sprayer and paint brush. Very beautiful paint.

I really don’t like painting but using this paint made the job much more tolerable. It goes on smoothly dries to the touch in 30 minutes and is ready for the second coat in 2 hours. As with any paint project the prep is critically important to the finished job and I followed the paint application recommendations. I made sure the old paint was sound and used filler on any holes / gouges, sanded the surfaces and used a good primer (Behr Primer 437). The paint has good coverage and after two coats it looked like new again. Very happy with the product and highly recommend.

I tested this product on a high glossy veneer surface, in this case, a Formica surface. This type of surface is typically prone to allow the painted material to be easily scratched off. I prepared the surface by sanding with 100 grit sandpaper to rough-up and remove the high gloss. I then applied enamel undercoating per the instructions. After it dried, I tested the hardness by purposely trying to scratch it. It adhered perfectly and provided a hard undercoat. I then painted on the finish coat (Cabinet & Trim Enamel) per the instructions. I was very impressed with the final results. The final finish was tough and resistant to scratching.

This is a very nice and high quality looking paint. The paint goes on super smooth looking with very little effort to remove the brush stroke marks. I would imagine if you have a sprayer you could get a very professional high quality look. The paint can recommends that you apply two coats and I would say that is probably a really good idea. It looks decent with one coat but 2 coats made it look great. Also the can says it dries in about 2 hours but when I was applying I noticed that the paint had dried in about an hour, so climate is going to impact your dry time If you see the pictures the one of the paint is on a piece of birch plywood but not cabinet grade. You can tell though that the paint is very smooth and has a nice finish. Overall this is a quality paint and I would recommend it for your cabinets or trim work.

Good coverage. Pure white paint brightened up our bedroom doors. When we moved in, one of the bedrooms had paint over a stained door. While white, they had a yellowish tinge. Paired with Behr’s Acrylic Alkyd Enamel Undercoater, the doors are a pure white after only one coat of each. In fact, I may have to paint the semigloss trim because now it looks dingy. Paint can came with an attachment ready to be used by a power roller or sprayer.

The Behr Premium 1 Gallon #12 Swiss Coffee Satin Enamel Interior Cabinet and Trim Paint has arrived. My first project was to repaint an end table from black to white. I lightly sanded the top and most of the legs with fine grit sand paper. Then applied a light coat of the Behr primer. Then I applied 2 coats of the enamel paint. I used a paint brush and it came out very smooth with no brush marks. This paint exceeded my expectations.

I just used my BEHR PREMIUM Interior Cabinet and Trim Paint. I ordered this in what they call "Ultra-Pure White" in satin. I got 2 gallons and it came packed nicely with no damage. This is a very bright white. I painted some trim with it. The paint is fairly thick and stays on your brush pretty good. The paint flows nice onto what you are painting. I used only one coat over existing white trim. Coverage was good. My drying time was about a 15 minutes to a half an hour to the touch. You can't go wrong with BEHR paint.

Very creamy consistency, goes on very smoothly with both a brush or a roller. I used it for our door trim in our office and it looks beautiful. Very easy clean up with soap and water. It came packaged very well using plastic holders inside the box to prevent tipping, and the paint has a top that comes with a screw off spout hole and a spout for easy pouring. I really liked how easy it poured into the pan because of the spout, and when you’re done all you need to do is screw the lid back on.

Behr paint is the best, I've been using their products for years. this gallon of paint is ideal for my kitchen cabinet do over. The paint is a very good consistency, it flows smoothly and evenly. Comes with excellent directions, cleaning old cabinet method, application details, brush or roller, and clean up is a breeze, just soap and water.I'm using their acrylic primer after the cleaning to block stains and bleed through. It too is excellent, flows smoothly and evenly. Both paints dry in 2 hours.

I couldn’t wait to use it. It is thick but not hard to maneuver. It has a strong grip and coverage is very good. I did two coats and it covered the door really good. I had no problem using the paint with either a roll or brush. The color of the paint was truly a black. This paint can be used with or without a primer. The paint dries quickly and was able to retouch within an hour of first coat. I painted my kids bathroom door and have had no issues for the past week. It has adhere very good and have not seen any paint come off. I would use it again. And that is why I have bought a different color for my kitchen cabinets.

Excellent results. I decided to do a trial run before taking on the job I acquired this product for. I used a piece of the same material the cabinets in my laundry/utility room is made from. The existing material has become stained and discolored over time and a no longer the original pure white. The sample piece was was identical. I used exactly to the instructions, including the recommended primer (pictured). Both the primer and top coat went on easily with excellent flow, the top coat was easy to work with and as promised had excellent leveling - when dry there are no brush marks at all. Once cured the results were impressive, very tough finish, not quite fingernail polish hard, but close to it. And love that it is water cleanup. Very pleased.

I am restoring an old Colonial. Getting down to the final projects; like cabinets and trim. Based on how much more handling they get (compared to walls and ceiling), I figured I would use a paint specifically for cabinets and trim. The directions claim you need to use an undercoat. I used Behr Acrylic Alkyd (312733051). The undercoat claims it should be tinted to the color of the top coat (which I too recommend), but Swiss Coffee being white, it was not necessary. I ended up only needing to apply one coat; even with the Undercoat turning a little tan, from the years of tobacco on the old cabinets. Looks great, and a huge improvement in lightening up the room! The paint sticks to the brush well and has very little smell (VOC's); when wet or while drying. Being Fall, I already have my wood stove going. So, the air was real dry, and the paint dried extremely fast. It has an innovative lid design. A screw cap (like a 5 Gallon), and includes a screw on spout for pouring. I did not use it, because I paint right out of the bucket, but I can see it being helpful.
