water streams out of the weep hole ended up going...
water streams out of the weep hole ended up going back to the old check valve setup instead.

The weep hole is in this system to prevent air lock. Without it, the pump would not be able to eject water. We include a red line at the position of the weep hole so you can anticipate the direction the water will go. For more information please contact our customer support team at 800-991-0466, option 3. connected the product and when we tested the pump water...
connected the product and when we tested the pump water was leaking from the one seal. I was not taking it all off to return the item. Put some flex seal to cover the leaking area

This quick connect pipe has a built in weep hole to prevent air lock. Water will come out of this hole as well. We indicate where this hole is with a red line on the pipe so you can anticipate which direction the water will come from. Outstanding, exactly as advertised. I bought two, one for my main electric sump pump and one for my basement buddy backup pump. The pipe and check valves are sturdy and stable. Extra nice that they drilled the weep hole to spray the water downward into the sump. It truly is a quick connect, I had mine connected and running in 15 minutes.
