This little guy packs a punch. I was surprised at the distance it reaches. I was lighting up hills that were several hundred feet away. For only $22 you can't beat it.

We have an original Defiant flashlight that was GREAT but finally died. This new model is very uncomfortable to hold the lock is right where your fingers are and the grip handle is too small even for my wife's tiny hand. Don't buy this one!

I'm on two acres with marshland and woodlands bordering us so when I take the dog out at night during peak skunk foraging season (July-September where we live), I HAVE to see the skunk before the dog or the skunk, dog and I have a bad night. The defiant is always up to the task. The pistol grip is perfect for quickly locating noise/motion, it's plenty bright for me to see comfortably at 100 yards and more with a little less detail. It holds a charge a well and is durable. I bought a second so I can leave one at the front door and one at the back. I'm sure there are brighter but not at this price. For all you folks who had the misfortune of buying a damaged light, you're missing out if you didn't just replace it. I'm going on 5 years of near nightly use of my first Defiant and I do notice I need to charge it every 2nd or 3rd night but that's to be expected. Lithium ion batteries have a fixed number of charges during a lifespan. The second light is 2.5 years into service and showing no signs of weakness. I usually rotate front door / back door usage because our walks out back are more taxing.

I actually liked this flashlight for a few months while it worked, but you should know that it will only work a few months and then the internal electrical portion of the on/off switch will disintegrate from the heat. It is under-designed in this area - the weak link. The 1" black plastic internal relay cannot handle the heat when it's on. I opened mine up to see why it wouldn't turn on and found that the relay was crumbled from the heat. This is my second one to go back in the same way so it's not worth the money. I'm going to buy a heavier duty one now. This one is made in Hubei Province, China and there is no way to complain or get placement parts.

Seems my product was taken out of the return bin and kicked across the store before being bagged and ready for pick-up =( With that being said, it works so I’ll definitely give it a 3-star credit for being able to take a small beating!

This flashlight puts out a lot of light. It has a high and low setting simply by clicking the trigger. It allows you to lock it on in case you need to be hands free. The charge last a really long time, months or more depending on how much you use it. And when it runs down a quick recharge gets it back up without having to dispose of batteries!

I was skeptical this flashlight was going to be any good looking at the price.. it had great reviews so I figured I would try it. SUPER BRIGHT! Shines far and lasted more than long enough for outside chores. rechargeable, LED, and compact and small. Highly recommend! Best bang for your buck by far.

We bought this flashlight years ago in gulf shores Alabama to go crab hunting. Thought it would last a year max. Here we are 3 years later and it still works perfectly even after being stored in my car all this time. Would highly recommend. Thanks for making a good product.

Small and lightweight spotlight which puts out a big beam of light. It has 2 settings, low and high which is good. The locking trigger could be improved, but overall a nice light. I like the ability to charge via the 2 enclosed AC and DC cables. I was pleasantly surprised that it came fully charged! It tells you not to charge it, unlike other items you have to spend time fully charging before using. Seems to be doing well, so far so good. Perfect size for my hand!

these are amazing products!!!!! i have 3 of these and 2 of the 450 lumens. DURABILITY!!!! my great pyrenees/anatolians shepherd "puppies" (18 months) could not destroy it. they are big dogs - 110 lbs. not once, not twice, but 3 times i forgot to take the light in with me from the barn. each time they found it. each time it was more and more chewed up. even after all that abuse and missing having the handle missing it still works. has a powerful beam. can see clear across the pastures with it. highly recommend this item

What a let-down! No where on the box, or on the website, does it indicate the capacity of the "lithium-ion battery pack", nor does it indicate that it only consists of a single cell, a single 3.7Vdc 2000mAh cell. The website is very misleading using the term "pack", and in the items included uses "batteries", as in a plural number of cells. i was expecting a 2- or 4-cell battery pack based upon these descriptions. It's only after you purchase the item and open it at home that you will see it clearly marked on the back of the light (as shown in the photo). This was not visible in the sealed package at the store, nor shown on the many views on the website, nor mentioned in the user manual--Shame on Homer for this sort of dishonest advertising!

This light is pretty bright! Hold a charge for a good while. Definitely recommend and very satisfied

Nice and bright and easy to re-charge. The light button must be held to keep the light on unless one locks it in place but the locking button is in an awkward place and hard to lock while keeping the light on.

Have a similar light and like that it is rechargeable and doesn't need batteries.

So far I like this flash light. Like that it is rechargeable.

I accidentally swiped my Defiant off of the table, 2.5-3 feet, and apparently blew the bulb, now trying to figure out how to replace the bulb, because it was such a great light. Hoping to figure this out. Hate to toss it!!

Very good it’s awesome

Have had one before. This one is much smaller, and the button to turn it on doesn’t hold it on. You must push another button for that. You can’t hang it on your wrist as the previous one I owned.

Cheaply made and not rugged. You drop it and it will never work again.

It works as we need it to.

I drop this an average of 408x a day and it Never has an easy fall but always off of every corner and on concrete or gravel and it has taken no damage; no dent no scratch no smear. I haven't tried to damage it but not for fear of success but to prevent my demasculation to an inanimate object. The light is very affordable, bright, and rapidly recharges. It fits in my cupholder for easy access when I need to find an address quickly. This product wins.
