Product was an exact fit to my existing Delta 600 series valve. Note that removal of existing trim pieces can be a challenge especially if there is a lot of mineral build up. Caution to all to not exert excessive force so as to not damage existing components (i.e. valve tubing).

I did not want to replace the brass 4-way fitting in my wall but wanted a new lever and faceplate. This was perfect for replacing the old "Crystal Ball" 600 series lever--the type with the tiny holed ball inside that controls hot/cold flow. Was easy to install and cheaper than paying a plumber to replace the brass in the wall. Use plumbers grease on the gaskets and be gentle when removing your old lever to prevent breaking the brass. Looks and feels very high-quality.

This conversion and renovation kit did the job for me at an excellent price. I converted my existing bright brass, single lever valve to a rubbed bronze finish. All the parts supplied were metal with the quality of the original valve. The only issue I ran into was the ball supplied would not work with my valve body (ball not the same, needed a slot on the side) and the ball cover seal on my old valve was different. I just used the old items on those two parts and on the rest of the rebuild I used the new parts. It came out fine, works like new, looks like new. I am well pleased and recommend this kit. I provided a few photos. I hope they might help.

Perfect replacement for my old 600 series Delta faucet. Install was very easy.

This is a great kit. Simple to install and saves a ton of work from tearing out a wall new plumbing etc.

I am ordering this now. I do not see anyplace the screws can connect to. Am I missing some part that should have been located behind the valve?

Nice kit but did not come with the replacement springs and and rubber bushings.

This was what was needed to replace my Delta shiny gold knob series. Otherwise holes in the wall to put in different type of turning knob. Works great. Plumber had no issues

Medium quality parts. The actual ball valve housing is welded together instead of being a solid part. Still does the job and no leaks.

Nice Alternative to cutting a hole in the wall to change out the tub faucet.

The kit has all the parts and clear instructions to remove and replace the old crystal ball style shower faucet hsndle with the updated lever style. My only complaint is with the design itself that has you twist the faucet lever in the opposite direction of how the old crystal ball lever worked. And yes, the lever is installed as directed, but the valve design for hit/cold functions seems opposite of how the crystal ball worked. Otherwise this is a great, economical kit for the upgrade.

The lever that controls the mix of hot/cold water fails after a few years! We have had to have it repaired 3 or 4 times. The bronze color on the handle has also faded.

Would you like your water blazing hot or freezing cold? With the lever turned to the center amd you turn it 1 mm to the left, and goes to the hottest temperature. 1 mm to the right and it's the coldest. THERE IS NO WARM WITH THIS THING. Delta really needs to do something about this instead of limiting us to just one model or nothing at all.

Plummer said it would not fit my shower trim so he recommended buying a whole shower kit. Before, my Plummer recommended I take my old shower trim to a plumbing company and I took it to Ferguson Plumbing (Ferguson recommended the Delta Shower trim which I purchased from Home Depot). The representative was very helpful and matched my old piece with the delta shower trim. However, my Plummer said it would not work because my old shower trim was very outdated. So the Plummer ended up going into wall with a different shower trim.

As many other reviewers have noted, Delta has the hot and cold labeled backwards on this item. If it weren't for that, I would say it was perfect. Good fit, pretty good instructions, improved looks. Except for the crazy incorrect labelling on the backplate.

The man I talked to on the help line was wonderful and directed me to this product. My remodeled quickly installed it and it looks great. Easily replaced my old one

Worked great. The valve is 42 years old when the house was built. Good life service I would say. The kit was easy to install. The bonet was hard to get off. Tried heat from a torch but ended up cutting a groove carefully with a dremel then splitting the bonet with a screw driver as if you twist it with a wrench you will damage the valve assembly if it is tight. Found a plug for the diverter and installed a spout wit diverter in it.

Until recently I was not aware of the availability of this kit, so I would keep replacing parts with a third party supplier every six months or so. The kit was very easy to install, the most difficult portion being aligning the face plate bolts to the plumbing screw holes in the wall. After that, you follow the instructions and it is easy. For decades, we had got used to the chrome finish shower valve that came with the house so had to decide to go with the chrome or stainless steel kit, we chose the stainless steel finish - looks great too. Their tech support is excellent too, I just needed to confirm if what I thought during the install was correct or not, and received an email adding to the confidence that I had done the install correctly.

Very happy we could convert the old brass handle to the updated bronze. The only downside is the way the handle turns for hot and cold. It is determined by the way the end of the handle points instead of the top as I had expected it to.
