Yes, I converted mine last year from the crystal knob version to the lever, works fine
Delta makes the 600 series shower renovation kit in chrome but I haven't seen it offered at Home Depot. Try Google and I believe you'll find it.
Hello Isumom, Thank you for your question. If your current faucet handle pushes up, to turn the water on and turns left and right to control your hot and cold water. Also, if the screw holes on your escutcheon plate are located at the bottom (5 and 7 o-clock) positions, then you would have would have an older 600 series unit and the Delta Renovation Kit RP54870RB will fit/work on your current in wall valve assembly. Best regards, Tanya
Sm, Thank you for your question! This product is available in Chrome (RP54870) and Stainless Steel (RP54870SS) as well. Best regards, Jon
Delta shows the 600 series kits available in chrome, venetian bronze and stainless, but not brass. I've seen the escutcheons only listed on the internet in brass, but did not include the handle or shower head.
Hi, Tom. Thank you for your question. The diverter valve would need to be plugged with the Delta RP2865 Diverter Plug and the tub spout assembly would need to be changed to a diverter tub spout assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna
Hi Kyle, It is metal, see the photo of the parts provided.
Yes it does.
Hi River, Yes it does, the rubber seals and the springs. Please see the photo of the parts provided.
That can be tough. Your instinct is to give it a serious squeeze to get a good grip and make sure the tool doesn't slip. Maybe your using a channel locks or even a vise grips. This is a case were "less is more." The metal for the dome is really thin. The harder you squeeze, the more you are deforming the dome and pinning it to the threads. In essence, you are working against yourself at this point. If you have a strap wrench, switch to that as it applies uniform pressure all the way around the object you are trying to loosen. If you are using a channel locks, use the minimum pressure to keep the tool from slipping. I had sweated, cursed, watched youtube, and tried almost every pliers in my toolbox. Then, while considering my next move, I just kind of laid my channel lock on the piece, barely squeezed it, and gave sort of a disinterested tug. SPUN RIGHT OFF!
