Needs to be redesigned

I have replaced this cartridge several times and have experienced the same problem over and over. It fails to shut off without dripping most the time requiring handle wiggling to find a sweet spot. I have used Delta parts as well as knock offs with the same results.

What stands out most about the product is that the faucet cost around $200 originally and after approximately 5 years I was having to replace this part which cost about $40 without cost of labor for repair. Seriously, why can't a faucet last longer for that price? If I had it to do again, I would have just purchased the faucet with two handles which would probably last longer AND be easier/cheaper to repair. Poor product!!!!
