Hello, I'm sorry to hear your'e not pleased with your replacement Delta faucet. In 2008 Delta Faucet Company changed the way water is delivered with the launch of its Diamond Seal Technology system and DURAMOUNT (non-corroding) mounting system. With the development of this system we made some obvious changes to the faucet. One of these changes being the weight of the faucet. Unlike our old style faucets, where the majority of the faucet body was made from brass bar stock and copper tubing, our new DST faucets have lead free (Pex-C) water ways, integral supply lines, non-corroding mounting, and a Diamond Seal cartridge seated on the integral pex “puck” that houses all of our water management components. Because of the changes listed above, one of the most notable differences will be the weight of the faucet. Please note that although Delta may have launched a new water delivery system, it also understands the need to maintain the quality and integrity in its products that have made us successful for over 50 years. Delta Faucet Company takes extreme pride in the quality of its products and strives daily to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers’.
