It is the OEM part, fits right in and works as it should. Costs more than the knock off parts of questionable and unknown quality and fit.

Worst customer service!
I guess I shouldn't say worst customer service because it's nearly impossible to talk to customer service. I've called multiple times and the automated response is… There are 81 people ahead of you. I will never buy Delta again.

It was the exact fit replacement for a an old worn out cartridge, that lasted 19 years. Let’s hope this one lasts that long. Very happy with the product and very easy DIY project. Thank you

Install took about 15 minutes and required only an Allen wrench and a small screwdriver which I used to remove the plug concelling the allen screw. And it works great! Just like when the faucet was brand new.

Goes bad quickly
We have had this faucet for about 8 years and have had to put new cartridges in about every 6 months. It's ridiculous.

Tired of replacing this cartridge
Like many other reviewers on this site, my Delta faucet won’t shut off completely and I am replacing the original cartridge for the third time in 5 years. Can’t wait to replace the Delta faucet with a more reliable product.

This cartridge replaced the six year old original that made it nearly impossible to turn the water off all the way every time. It was a relatively easy replacement and the faucet works like new. Hopefully it lasts another six years!

Continue to have issues with Delta Cartr. RP50587
The last time I replaced our RP50587 cartridge was in January 2020. Delta provided that replacement cartridge. Now it is January 2024 and the same problem. Actually the cartridge has been bad for a while. I cannot remember when it went bad but I'd guess about at least 18 months ago. It does the same thing, leaks/drips unless we have the faucet handle in the right spot. Delta can we get another replacement cartridge? Thank you.

unexpected delta genuine part poor quality
Start leaking bad after two weeks only from installing date. Item returned and replaced with one I purchased from eBay.. it is so far much better from what they call it “ genuine “ part. Will never buy delta faucet again because their genuine parts doesn’t work. Thank you delta!

Low quality
I bough Delta faucet in 2017. The cartridge started leaking water in 2020. I got a replacement cartridge and it worked again for 3 years before it started to leak.
