I purchased this particular locator because it picks up my 512 MHz transmitter. I also purchased this locator because is a fraction of the cost compared to some other brands. It’s not all high tech but it gets the job Done. Im a plumber and I attached my transmitter to my camera then pulled out my locator to follow the transmitter down the pipe the only thing I wish this locator could do is give me a Depth on the pipe But for the price can’t beat it!)

I recently bought for our program at school. I bought it without realizing it did not come with a 512hz sonde transmitter. I tried looking for one at the Home Depot website but had no luck. Please let me know if they do sell it.

Nowhere did I see an alert that you needed an expensive transmitter to use in addition to the pipe being tested had to be open and accessable. Our need was to locate existing supply lines in our mobile park without turning everyone's water off!

Doesn't work. Can't tell if locating anything since noise is loud even when anything bear by

I bought it and it did not work for me, it only gives an approximate where it is located, I do not know exactly where it is

I ordered the locator from Forbest, it came right away, I have a Kyrie camera for in pipe it has the same frequency but I tried to use but it didn't work with it, I sent back to company, they said it was ok,I'm waiting for it to come back to see if it works again,so I can't really rate it for now ,
