I had a storm door, but switched to a security "screen" door that is great during summer, spring, and fall, but in the winter I cannot leave the front door open for obvious reasons so there is no light coming in to my entry way ;>(. I decided to give this vinyl sheeting a try. What a GREAT decision! I put it on both the front and back of the screen door and although it is not like having a piece of glass, I can see in and out well enough and have the light coming through on those chilly/cold days. A very good product at a great price!

Great extra thick plastic for insulating older windows. The thick plastic makes it harder for the cat to shred it to ribbons.

If you're looking for something that's glass-clear, this isn't it. I wanted something that I could use as a bio-barrier, for visitors to isolate in a heated room with its own entrance, closing a large opening between it and the rest of the house. This isn't clear enough to look at each other as we talk. But for those who missed the point, this plastic is 4 *mil*, not 4mm. A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 4 mils = 0.004" (0.1016mm).

Shame on HD. This is paper thin- definitely not the 4 mm that HD advertised at the time of my purchase

My car door window busted out on a road trip so I got this and some gorilla tape so I could keep going worked great and very easy to see through while driving. Now I keep a kit in all my cars.

I have screen window on my fully enclosed balcony , no actual glass windows. first taped the sheeting to the exterior wooden window frames. Came off after first snow. Also sheeting has a deep indentation from the center fold, which creates a line of weak point, tear easily under cold or stress

I use this plastic to keep the draft from coming in my windows. It is thicker than the boxed plastic “storm windows” and works very well to keep out the cold. It has a slight haze and it would be nice if it was a little clearer.

Room still has a major draft and requires and additional heater for my baby to be warm at night.

It last through more than one season and easy to use.

I have purchased this product for many, many years and yearn for the quality of the original version. The plastic is no longer crystal clear as the label claims; it is hazy.. Additionally, for the last few years, this product has come in a roll that is half the length of the width of the plastic which creates a crease down the middle of the entire roll that is unsightly when used on windows/patio doors. The crease is impossible to remove even with heat. I continue to use this product each year because there is not a suitable alternative. The shrink kits provide film that is clear but not thick enough to be durable. This film is thick and durable, and insulates my old windows effectively for the winter.

Not really clear as stated. Also, the windows sweat a lot, so I have to keep towels under each window.

just what was needed to cover a rug that the cats were scratching, and I can still enjoy the rug while knowing it is not being torn to shreds.

Good product for the price. We use it to seal in our windows over the winter and durable enough to make it through a couple of reuses. Nice clear view that you can't really tell they are on the windows. Giving a try this summer to replace the covers on our mini greenhouses.

ABSOLUTELY the thickest Mill plastic for window covering I have ever worked with!

this is the next best thing to glass when enclosing an area

What a waste of money and crappy product. it's folded in half and then rolled, so you have to unroll the whole thing to get the 44" and then it ends up ripping on the seam when you try unfolding it. Ended up throwing the whole thing out. Total waste of money. Horrible horrible product. Don't waste time or money on it.

Perfect material for my project

Just right thickness , just the right width , easy to roll out and cut to size . Very clear and easy to use. Sealed up my screened in back porch for a upstate NY. winter.

I was disappointed that the so called 44" sheet was folded in half and then rolled. This leaves a crease that has to be worked out by heat if you want to use it for something like a window.
