Poor product quality.
The worst experience we have ever had with a new appliance. After two installations and two defective units we decided to go in a different direction.

A Poor Experience and Product
My most important concern the 6 months that we owned this dishwasher was the fact that the side venting of moisture out underneath my cabinets caused a problem with condensation. This got so bad that it affected the inside of the drawers next to the DW and I had to run a fan with the drawers open for several hours each time I did a load of dishes. This was really annoying and inconvenient. When the door no longer latched, I bought a Bosch and the GE went to the dump.

Very quiet and cleans great!
Had to order this with the black stainless door, and waited almost 5 weeks. But once received and I installed it, we really like it - very quiet, the dishes come out spotless and the controls are easy to use once you learn them.
Two complaints though - the door seems too heavy to counter-balance correctly and will fall open if you don't lower it manually, (with no adjustment possible), and one of the middle rack sliders is very rough and hard to slide. I've contacted GE customer service and will see what they can offer.

Worried the product will still work in 3 years
I have had this dishwasher for a month now. It cleans dishes well, and it is very quiet. Last night I got a FTD Failed to Drain error, however there were no blockages in the filters or the garbage disposal. I tried canceling the cycle and restarting and it would not restart or drain. I ultimately ended up shutting g the power down via the circuit breaker and powering back up. This finally got it to drain and I was able to run the wash cycle to completion. The other annoyance is that the fill rinse aid notification is constantly on even though the rinse aid is full.

In regards to the rinse aid error, the dispenser holds 3.5 oz. (104 ml) of rinse agent. Under normal conditions, this will last approximately one month - depending on the setting. Features exceed the GE Website description
Dishwasher has just been installed. So far, it exceeds what I saw online and found several negative reviews erroneous. I see features beyond the web description. I confirm that it is the quietest appliance we have owned in 55 years of marriage.
We have purchased the GE "Profile" products more than 20 years and the service has been excellent. Excited to see all the features at work. I will update the review in 90 days.

Quiet and clean
I like the quietness of the DW and I also like the top pull-out drawer to place bulky yet flat utensils. What I don't like is that the bottom pullout for dishes is awkward- it doesn't hold a lot or as many dirty dishes that my old GE monogram held. The upper pullout for glasses is nicer though because it holds more glasses than my last GE dishwasher. Also the blade for the bottom rack hits the dishes and flatware if you don't put the dishes and flat wear in a certain way. So that's kind of a pain.

Shhhhhhhhh! It’s oh so quiet!
Run it for the first time and boy it’s quiet. To the point that we had to turn the fridge off to see if the dishwasher was working.
Putting it together wasn’t a huge issue but I’d recommend the sound blacket be attached much better and also the sound proofing behind the kick plate needs to be cut to size better. To the point that after screwing it together and opening the door the steam exhaust on the bottom was of the door snapped clean off. Hopefully I can be sent a new one? Otherwise I’ll have to try and glue it and hope it sticks.
Let’s see how the machine stands up to old Father Time.

Clean dishes and quiet operation.
Sleek, stainless steel front looks great. Racks roll out very easily and are easy to load. Machine is very quiet while in wash mode and the alert to let you know the cycle is finished is unobtrusive. Dishes come out very clean even if only using short cycle.

Not worth the amount you are paying
Our dishwasher was manufactured in 2019 and the circuit board already blew out! That’s ridiculous! We brought in an appliance repair guy and he even said this is a big issue with GE !

Piece of junk
It’s quiet. It has questionable cleaning ability. But it’s an absolute piece of junk construction-wise. There aren’t real tracks for the bottom drawer, and the “wheels” are these flimsy plastic things that very loosely snap onto the drawer. They fall off constantly, making the bottom drawer challenging to use. We’ve had it for less than 6 months. I could have had a crappy dishwasher for free by just keeping my old one. Oh- and when it was delivered, the guy dropped it about 2 feet.

Rack challenges
Attractive styling, simple cleaning options to choose from. Cleans well on “normal” choice. My frustration is trying to fit my dishes in the racks consistently….variable locations, angles, spacing of rack tines is challenging for both my husband and myself….not enough flat space for our smaller glass bowls. The glasses tip over when placed on the flat areas of the racks. We like the third upper rack for flatter cooking utensils.

Out with the old profile DW and in with the new.
I replaced a 17-year-old GE Profile dishwasher as it was getting tired with this new PDT785SYNFS model. We've been using it for about a month and couldn't be happier. It was easy to install and quiet as described, plus its water flow design is amazingly thorough. We switched to the recommended soap pods that help with the excellent results. We purchased the extended warranty just in case.

Reassembly required over and over and over…
This thing is incredibly quiet and works like a champ. The bottle jets are perfect. Wish the top shelf had a bit more clearance. Anyway, down to why I give it three stars. The front left wheel truck on the bottom cart hits the door ever so slightly when you pull it open and comes off ALL THE TIME!!! I know it doesn’t seem like much but imagine paying what these things cost only to have to put the wheels back on every time you open it. I’m pretty much over it by now and it’s only been a month. Surely there is a better way…

This dishwasher arrive 1019/23. at first I thought they couldn’t install it because of the cabinets I had between the dishwasher and the sink however, the one who delivered this stove on the same day, was able to install it. I was perfectly surprised, and relieved. Everything went smoothly after that the dishwasher is incredibly quiet, but it’s running and cleans the dishes just fine. I do use the recommended, dishwashing soap and rinse aid. Cascade platinum.

Great, except for the rollers
This dishwasher is the most quiet dishwasher we have ever had. The third tray has been handy for utensils, larger spoons..etc. The silverware comes out very clean as well. We haven't used the bottle washer but it looks impressive. The one complaint is the left side roller on the bottle rack pops off whenever we pull out the rack. We noticed that it hits the door and snaps off, especially when the rack is full of dishes. The other side has no problems.
