My back deck was set in 2008. The boards were loose and making so much noise. I discovered the screws were rusted so bad they no longer had a hold on any of the boards. I backed the old ones out, a horrible chore by itself. The old screws left holes, some screws I had to dig out with a screw driver and pull out. I secured the boards with the new screws and plan to replace these boards next year. Exterior deck crews should always be replaced and the boards flipped after a couple of years, in the long run it is best for stability.

These screws have worked very well for various projects. I have been very happy with this purchase. I have not had any issues getting the phillips head to fit these. They bite good and drive nicely. These have met my expectations and I haven't found anything that I dislike about them.

The perfect the project. The pandemic drove us out of the office and getting the ergonomics right working from home required building a better keyboard platform at "The Right Height." These screws proved to be "The Right Stuff" to fasten everything together.

The screw head (Phillips cross) held up well to the force of the driver bit by not tearing up the slots/cross when driving the screw in with a rechargeable hand drill. The screw tip penetrated well and bit into the wood quickly.

I used them for a wooden outdoor sofa made of recycled pallets wood. Excellent screws.

I use the screws at work for General installations. I find the 2 in work for most applications but we do have other sizes in our Hardware boxes. I also use them around the house for projects. I prefer them to the ones that use specialty drivers.

Always use this type of screw for outdoor wood projects. This was the first time one of the screws wasn't threaded. Great customer service response.

I used these screws to assemble a ramp for my son to use for jumps while riding his bike. I've used exterior screws before for household projects including repairing a fence. I believe they hold up to the weather and resist rust much better than regular screws. It's easier to disassemble an item if needed.

I like at Home Depot you can small amounts of screws and not have to get a big bucket. They worked great I built an outside plant table none of the screws bent or broke. Thank you Home Depot.

These screws are what you need. I bought the same size from a competitor and had nothing but broken screws! The heads broke off just before it tightened up. Almost ruined the playhouse I was building for my daughter. I bought these and they screwed in tight and strong. Not even a stripped head out of the whole box. Highly recommend these. I will definitely be buying these again!

GAR-bage. No bite, no grip, no grab. If you are doing a light duty-project, such as ... wait no, not even... because they failed at my light-duty project. I was 'trying' to secure a sheet of plywood to a 2x4 - with a cordless drill and these screws worked up to the 80% mark, and then just stopped grabbing. My driver started skipping, so I had to reverse, insert, reverse, insert at least 3 times just to get it to sit flush. But it wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty. Then I tried to hang a 50inch treated hardy board (1/2 thick) above a door, and these lazy screw puppers didn't even want to go 50% in. They couldn't even bring the board to the panel. I mean, c'mon. I could have been more successful with a hammer and a few nails. So I switched out drills for my 'old timey' no excuses hard wired drill, but all it did was strip the screw head at the 85% mark. See attached pics, this is after 10 minutes too many of hammer-driving them in. See the gap? They didn't even want to catch. So I finagled the screw out after 5 minutes, and went with a different star-screw, and that thing set just perfect with the original cordless drill, no questions. SO, buy these things if you are screwing in paper into cardboard, but don't buy these if you are screwing wood into wood.

I used these screws on an outdoor rabbit hutch and after several months i had to replace some of the screws as they rusted, but not all.

Avoid at all costs, unless you do not mind only using about 40% or less of the box, and can handle getting a tad stressed from a philips #2 bit not fitting in. The issue is that the coating covers parts of the head of the screw. Two thumbs down, buy something else.
