Always useful for straightening studs to achieve plumb drywall lines

We had some wall unevenness at the studs. I purchased these to make up the difference for drywall . Installation and use is super easy. We were able to make the wall perfectly flat. It was very satisfying.

Perfect for what its made for

I am using these ultra flexible poster board shims in combination with 5/16 inch thick wooden lath to fur out studs prior to placing tile backboard for shower enclosure. They're very easy to work with, just staple to stud or lath face, layering (up to about 1/4") until wall is plumb and true. I would recommend these. I will have over half of the pack left over by the end of this project.

Very useful for leveling drywalls.

These things are invaluable when drywalling. We are installing new kitchen cabinets and wanted to get the wall perfectly flush so the new cabinets align perfectly. Very easy to use.

It's good to help straight the wall from twist studs and make butt's board.

Make a smaller pack available. I’m going to use only about 20

I needed this right away but prefer the Strait Flex brand. The Grip rite are far less expensive but not as good of quality. The Grip rite is more sensitive to water, although not expected to get wet. Also bending the Grip rite causes them to break. One other thing I cannot do with Grip rite is to split them by removing some layers to make the shim thinner when I want to take up smaller gaps. I know those smaller gaps are not necessary, but it is possible to do with the other brand. Home depot should consider stocking the other brand.
