Over all good quality. There were a few spots that I avoided as I miter cut to make L shaped counters. I am using oil, rather than urethane, because it will be used as a work surface and an oil finish will be easy to dress up scratches and dings. A few blemishes won't be a problem. If it was going to be used as highly finished surface, the blemishes could be a problem, thus the 4 star rating. I am very happy with them.

Nice butcher block for the price. I was replacing an older piece that was made from full length maple boards. The cheaper the butcher block, the more chopped up the pieces will be. This one is pieced together, but the cuts were fairly long and the surface only required a slight sanding.

After 2 separate orders for two 10’ counters each order...
After 2 separate orders for two 10’ counters each order had one good counter and one defective one. This manufacturer should be forced to achieve over 90% quality or be dropped! A 50% success rate is unacceptable. This project was made 2 months late resulting in irate end customer and lost revenue (added costs to mitigate). I truly hate this product and will never use their products. That says it all, now to begin the second return fiasco…m

Tried staining it but part of it did not take...
Tried staining it but part of it did not take stain (residual glue?) so I spent 3 hours sanding it back to bare wood, leaving it natural. Looks good natural, but my plan was to have it darker.

great countertop
great product, looks good, after finish was completed it looks great, delivery was horrible, no phone call before delivery, truck just showed up one day and they left it outside, I'm glad it did not rain, very poor delivery handling

great countertop
Beautiful color just as shown in photo. Be aware there are little dark spots and knots in the wood. Very solid..and heavy! Easily maintained with mineral oil.

Unfortunately within one day of installing the wood has already began to split in multiple places. We’re severely disappointed, and would absolutely not recommend this countertop to anyone!

One side has small cracks and I am using it...
One side has small cracks and I am using it as a table top. I had hoped to be able to flip it periodically to avoid any possible cupping. But only one side is really good.
