I went out of my way to find this at a not local Home Depot. Needed something quicklyfor a job. Need to download the Klein Borescope App on an Android phone. Finally downloaded app but was never able to  a picture. Poor connection camera cable to phone. Would have been a struggle to hold phone, keep connected,  Fish the camera through wall and view. Returned. Should have read reviews & not wasted my time.

This is a horrible item and homedepot wany me to travel an hour and a half to return it. Don't buy it doesn't work with anything. Georgia Pitchford

As many others have stated, the app for Android is crap, and doesn't work at all. However I plugged this thing into a Windows laptop and it worked just fine using the built-in Windows camera app - no sientas software needed at all.

I love the large view it gives. Very clear picture of what i am viewing!

The only thing that works is the light. Tried it on 8 different phones and only get a black screen.

Been wanting one for a while, got it black screen on the app light turn on but there is no image useless product back it goes

Works phenomenally AFTER I figured it out! EVERYONE LISTEN: if you are getting a solid black screen on the app, pull the usb-c plug out and flip it 180°! it took me 20 minutes before figuring out that one side of the usb-c plug had to be facing up, UNLIKE a phone charger! KLEIN, an insanely easy fix would be to color the side that should be facing upward! I'll be using a paint pen on mine! :)

Purchased the unit hooked it up to my s10 no pic,took the camera back got a replacement bu same issue returned for refund.

I ordered this borescope camera even though a lot of the reviews were negative knowing that I could return it to HD for a refund if it didnt work for me. I tried several Android tablets (for the larger screen size) and they would not connect to the app. I then tried my Android phone and everything worked once I installed the app and restarted my phone. The scope now connects seamlessly to my phone whenever I use it. It takes a while to get used to what you are seeing on the screen. I had to really sloooow down my motions when probing with the camera. The variable light output of the built in lights really works well. All in all I'm very pleased with the purchase.

It doesn't connect to any device, it doesn't work.

I downloaded the correct app and tried the the camera three times on three different devices - my phone, my husband's phone, and my tablet. All are different Androids with the "C" connector- but none of the devices recognized the boroscope. Three strikes! No good

App does not work, just a black screen.... Very disappointed.... trash!!!

It's a great little device if you use the after market software

Doesn't work with windows 11 or Samsung s21 ultra. Contacted Klein. They said to return it to the store and will not help any further. Pretty sure they know its a junk product. I would give it 0 stars.

doesn't flex around corners or give you a great view beside in direct location to the end and also disconnects when it wants to.

Received as gift, how do you tell your son it's crap. After telling him how good Klein tools are, the best best you can buy.

I had bought it several months ago and it worked like a dream. Had to get a new phone and when I downloaded the app, I could no longer use the tool. Rather upset

Works as intended

OK 1st off if you want some highres perfectly clear pictures from a scope under $40 this is not your scope but pretty sure none exsists. With that out of the way downloading app was super easy have a newer S phone and works great. Build quality is pretty decent. Basically its a cheap scope that works put it in dark hole it sees whats inside and can take pictures and video what else do you want for $40. Will see if it last but I have trusted Klein for many years imagine it will be fine.

Just opened out of the box - downloaded et16 app...and picture is so blurry, I cannot see a thing!!

I really wish I could write a decent review. Been a commercial electrician for over 25 years. Loyal to the brand, on just about everything. Bought this unit brand new, from big box store . Thought it was a bargain and the scope length is better than most, but I cannot get it to work with any device I've tried. Don't think it's the app, but it might be. Anyway somebody let me know if it works or not
