Working well, satisfied with the AC, but on San Antonio days of 105-107*, it's hard to cool till after dark, still satisfied with it.

Not as cold as I expected. I have an old, small 6000 btu AC and it gets cooler than this one.

It hasn't work since being professional installed been working the LG company to get it fixed. Still waiting .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sun shines on this house all day. When the humidity rises, my LG is on. Quick cool down and relief. Best purchase I made.

It keeps me comfortable with very little energy use.

Bought the 8k unit for my bedroom last year. Works great, so I just got the 12k unit for downstairs. Great install, but I have to turn it on/ off several times before the compressor kicks in. Cools great once it does. One week old. Called LG customer service, they scheduled repair tech to come look at it on 6/24 between 8 and 12. No one showed up. I called back, rep says my tech request was rejected bc no one in the area today. No one called to tell me this. NOT HAPPY. VERY POOR SERVICE.

Unit not blow cold once it 90 plus outside. Had mine over a year so can't take it back. Don't buy this model..

It doesn't keep the apartment I bought it for cool at all. Today, it's 86 outside and it's 84 inside

Its a few weeks past my year warranty and the unit makes awful noise. Looks like the rubber isolator bushings on the compressor are bad. I called customer service for replacement parts. I Filled out the form for a call back if we got disconnected. After a half hour wait i got connected to someone whose phone kept cutting out. It disconnected and i never got a call back. Our old air conditioner was 20 years old when we “upgraded” to this one. Makes me sick i paid so much for a good brand and its a pile of junk. Also i never got the WIFI to work

Had the unit for less than a year… then the thing crapped out…won’t power up anymore….When it ran it did a good job…a lot of money for less than a year’s use...

I would definitely avoid buying this unit. The compressor cycles constantly won't keep a room cool at all anymore. Worked for about one year and a lot of people seem to think the same thing. Will definitely stop buying LG appliances now they are just junk. We have a portable AC unit with 8000 btus and cools better then this one at year in and half the cost too.

Exactly what I needed. Fit perfectly into old A/C cabinet. Very quiet and cools nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a unit that I could run off a generator and at least cool some of my house and this surely works! It's installed in a Florida room approx. 10'x22' (220sf) and I can run it with the sliding glass door open and cool my living room, dining room and kitchen to a comfortable/reasonable temperature. Love the Wifi and scheduling feature as I programmed this unit to run periodically through the hottest part of these Florida summer days and a little less through the night. I like the fact that these newer units use less electricity, I was able to run this off a Topshak 1000wh portable battery generator for a few minutes then it kicked off. Might need a more beefy portable generator.

The volume of air flow is low, not much. It barely cools a narrow room. I have bought 3 energy star ac units, various makes, all the same, no air flow. No I will not buy this unit again, looking for a non energy star unit that blows volume
