[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this from So Cal Gas Company and I am very happy with this washer's outstanding performance.

The design of this washer is terrible. A 1 hour wash will turn into 2.5 hours of repeated fills and spins, and this has happened more often than we can count in the few months of owning it. So we can’t rely on the timer, it wastes so much water, it sometimes finishes with soaked sheets that are so wet it takes hours to dry in the dryer. Also washing 1 set of sheets results in getting the Uneven error code. A washer that can’t handle sheets is useless. And yes, it is level. We don’t recommend anyone use this washer and we desperately wish we could return it.

Very good washer. Easy operation. Hope it lasts longer.

we have only had chance to use it 2 times. We cannot seem to get cold water rinse when needed, always warm.

We have had nothing but trouble with this machine since we got it. It works and then it doesn't and then it works again and then it doesn't. Constant error codes and unbalanced codes even when there are no clothes in the hopper. It looks good but good looks don't clean the clothes.

Most reviews are written when the product is new and perfect, this will give a better "how's it doing now" review. It's still good. It works and does everything I'd expect of it. It's better and has more features than the more expensive washer it replaced. So, go ahead and buy it. Word of warning though, if you're used to an agitator type washer, this is a new ball game. Give yourself time to get used to it. I'd buy it again.

I am happy with this washer. The laundry is now much cleaner no more rewashing. My a old washer was a joke. It never seemed to clean properly. There is a slight learning curve but there always is with something new. The machine is quite, efficient, and do does and excellent job. I can even wash a king size comforter with out any problems because of the large capacity tub. I truly believe I made the right choice with this washer.

Delivered and installed, then they did the tub clean cycle with the manual in the drum. Called Home Depot asking to have another manual sent to me, was instructed that I could go online and print it myself. Overall, I could hand wash my clothes better than this useless machine. First and last time buying a clothes washer with the impeller. And since you only get a 48 hour window to try any appliance, I couldn't return it since I only had one load to try and I'm single so I didn't have a chance to run a few loads to see if it was the settings I used or the machine. A year later, I still hate it. The only good option with the impeller, you can put a queen size comforter in it. I feel negative about the matching dryer too in case you only read this review but plan on getting both. It takes way longer than the settings to dry a load and I don't over fill it.

I bought this washer 2018. And the spin cycle needs repair. The inner drum needs to be replaced. They discontinued the part. And now I can't get it fixed. Never again

This washer is very quiet, efficient , and does a real nice job. It is highly rated on CR. Would buy again.

I HATE this machine. Do not buy it! It does not get clothes clean. It barely fills with water no matter what cycle you use and often times the top of some clothes don’t ever even get wet till the rinse cycle. I have called LG numerous times. One person even suggested I manually add water?!! I have been told it is an “ energy efficient” washer. That's a joke when it can take up to two hours to wash a load and they still aren't clean. I haven’t gotten much response from anyone other than I am basically just stuck with it. My last machine was an LG and I loved it. Stay away from this washer!! I would give it zero stars if I could.

Love it! User friendly. Cleans well. Lots of wash options. It even plays a little song at the end of a cycle. Highly recommend!

So far, this has proved to be a good washing machine. It does hold a much bigger load than my previous washing machine with an agitator. The cycle seems kind of long and you can't change to cold water on some of the setting like permanent press but I've gotten it to do what I need it to. That it uses so much less water takes a little getting used to but the clothes come out fully rinsed and clean and it saves a little on the water bill.

We purchased this to replace our Kenmore Oasis machine which we really liked over the years. This LG model fits almost in the exact same footprint as our Oasis, this was key as we were not replacing the dryer. So we have mixed washer and dryer units, but are very similar in look. The top portion (around tub) is all plastic. The controls are nice and very similar to previous Kenmore. We don't use many options other than "Normal" wash. Can't tell much of a difference between the few types they offer. Clothes are clean. The machine is very quiet, about the only thing we hear is when the discharge pump runs to drain the water.

Nothing but frustrating experiences with Home Depot and LG. HD delivery people refused to change the swing of the dryer door although it stated in writing on the order that it should be changed. I refused the delivery. They returned and changed the door swing. Very first time I used the dryer popping noises were coming from the dryer. Several frustrating hours later I finally reached LG who agreed only after hearing the noises themselves (my phone placed next to the dryer) to contact their service company. After waiting about a week I called LG again only to be told their service company tried contacting me but the call had been dropped. When I contacted their service company they blamed LG. It will now be 15 days without the use of a dryer until a repairman comes. As to the washer some of the clothes remain dry during a wash cycle and come out dirty because of the lack of sufficient water and movement of the clothes. I would not buy these machines again.
