Do not buy these faucets, I bought 2 years ago and since then they have never worked well, the drain throws a brutal rust, the worst of all is that my hands can no longer hold how difficult it is to turn for water to come out, I tried to use W40 but impossible to get these faucets to work, very disappointed in moen, always thought they were the best in faucets but it was so bad, will have to buy new faucets, don't think i will buy this brand again, not very happy with this product.

The faucet handles are coated with something, which starts peeling within 6 months. Looks cheap. Avoid these faucets.

A really stupid design - the left/hot handle pivots toward the user which makes sense and is normal but the right/cold handle pivots AWAY from the user. First of all that is such an abnormal and user-unfriendly design, but worse if there is not enough space behind the handle for it to turn full 90 degrees then the whole tap will not work. And the design under the bottom of the faucet is such that it cannot be easily pivoted to compensate. That a brand like Moen makes such a piece of poorly designed crap is bad, even worse they charge $230. And the detailed design specs show the various measurements but neglect to add this vital information which would have saved me a lot of $, time and frustration.

Moen did not meet our expectations for quality, and it appears we're not alone. My wife bought the Moen Darcy 8in faucet for our powder room remodel. After paying a plumber to install our brand new, out of the box faucet, it started to drip leak into the sink within 24 hours. I called Moen since there is a lifetime warranty on the parts, but a recording indicated all lines were tied up with other customers. I was given 2 options; to "Schedule a call back" for the next day, or disconnect. Replacement cartridges are on the way, but now I have to pay a plumber to disassemble and replace the cartridges. Moen honors the warranty by providing replacement parts, but not the cost of a plumber.

My husband and I purchased four of the Moen Darcy widespread faucets for our two bathroom remodels less than one and a half years ago in February 2020. Our contractor, who has over 20 years of experience, said they were very difficult to install and could not get the drain plug to lie straight because of their configuration. Despite this, we decided to keep the faucets and have been very dismayed over time at their quality. They shift and do not stay grounded in one position on our quartz countertops so that the faucets are at different angles from each other when at rest and they also slide around in their placement on the counter surface. Over the last 2 months, two of the faucets have basically popped out of their placement on the countertop (see the photos attached) and a third came off completely in my hand tonight. We tried to screw it back on and now it is unusable. Another one of the faucets has leaked over time and has started to corrode around the bottom and causes lime spots on the counter which I have to scrub away. To say we have been very disappointed in their quality is an understatement, as we have had an issue with every single one of the four faucets we purchased. We absolutely did not expect this from Moen. We had chosen faucets we thought would last years, considering them an investment in two expensive bathroom remodels. Rather than the quality we expected, we find ourselves with four very cheap looking and defective faucets. They are garbage! I can't believe Moen continues to sell this product line. We will never purchase a Moen faucet again.

We bought this faucet for our downstairs bathroom and liked the style so much that we got two more for our upstairs bathroom. The upstairs faucets are fine, but the downstairs faucet finish is cracked and eroded. The fact that the upstairs faucets look good, but the downstairs faucet doesn't doesn't suggests a manufacturing flaw unrelated to our water or how we clean.

Nice looking set. Easy turn handles. Pairs nicely with the Grey vanity we purchased at Home Depot.

This is actually a bad product and will cost you time money and effort. Bought two sets for brand new vanity tops. One stained the marble and the other froze up right away. I’d go with warranty service that moen is gaslighting everyone with but that won’t fix the vanity top and would give time for the second top to be ruined as well. Instead I’ll replace them and eat the $300 before the broken one stains the other vanity top. Off to find new faucets and fix and a new vanity top now. Keep looking and apparently don’t buy moen regardless of the premium cost.

I was so excited to finally get my bathroom redone. We saved up and thought we picked out good products. I was wrong. This Moen faucet corroded in under a year! I am not sure how that should even happen unless they are using poor quality materials. And it is not just replacing a sink faucet, look at what it did to my new sink! Needless to say I am more than upset. I would not buy this and take the chance of it happening to you too.

I love the design of this faucet but it took a bit tough to install. When I install handle, the document said that I need wrench. It was difficult for me to get into the cabinet under the sink and set wrench. I had installed another brand faucet before. The part didn't require wrench. I could use my hand to screw it. When I install the bar to open the drain, the top go caught in the wall because the space between the faucet hole and the wall was too narrow. I replaced it to another one which is universal part. I suggest people to check the space before buying. Basically, I am satisfied with the product.

I bought this as part of a bathroom remodel. Gutted. Not long after, the cold water handle fused to the base so it turns there instead of the handle. The hot water followed suit not much down the road. They leaked and damaged the marble. Total disappointment.

It's nice and somewhat easy to install but handles are loose and no way to tighten them as they just snap on in place onto plastic valve. Concerned that when drip develops some day we may need to remove faucet from countertop to change any o-rings, etc.

Nice looking faucet for my garden tub, did come out of the box with a scratch on it, like a pliers mark. Will keep it and overlook the scratch. Ease of installation. Always buY MOEN brand. Guaranteed quality, I love it!!! A bit pricey though!!

Installation of the faucet was fairly simple and straight forward. The reason for the 2 star rating is because the drain assembly provided with this faucet is garbage. The pivot rod is way too short to attach the clevis strap in such a way to allow the drain stopper to operate properly. I bought a new drain assembly (for both faucets) with a longer pivot rod to allow for proper function. Also, we bought 2 matching faucets, but received 2 different drain assemblies. They were different colors, different sizes, the sink flange and pop-up were different and did not match and even the brushed nickel finish was different. This is another reason why I had to buy new drain assemblies. Cost me an extra $25 which I should not have had to spend.

Think twice before buying this faucet! Installation was challenging due to the need to get a wrench up behind your bowl with minimal space to turn it. My brand new Delta was much easier to install as it uses an alan wrench to tighten it and the handle is installed in a single piece. Also, the difficulty to install becomes the same difficulty to de-install when it goes bad 2 years later, which was then compounded by the defect I experienced. The handles lock up and stop turning. I've read other reviewers with the same problem. The hot handle went out first, within a year of owning. It got difficult to turn, and eventually seized up completely. The only reason we still used it is because the whole valve cover was rotating in place and it still functioned, albeit with some force required. And it wasn't worth the hassle of disassembling the faucet to repair it. When the cold started to get tight I decided I would take it apart and consider calling Moen for Warranty. That's when the fun really began. You see, the issue causing the handle to lock up also meant that the friction holding the handle base to the valve was greater than the friction holding the valve to the countertop. I couldn't unscrew the handle cover off the base because it's next to impossible to get a good grip on the smooth surface, or the valve would just turn in place, negating my turning force. I tried silicone spray lubricant, but to no avail. After hours of profanity laden frustration, and finally drafting my wife to squeeze under the sink to clamp down on the valve to prevent it from turning, I managed to break the hot handle off. (the cold came off with considerable effort, but without breaking). It seems to me that the plastic threads inside are swelling over time and causing it to seize up. What poor material quality! Moen should be ashamed of themselves. After this experience, I opted to write off the broken faucet as a sunk cost and go with a different brand, Delta, rather than risk dealing with all that again in 2 years from a Moen replacement.

Top quality hardware, very easy installation and instructions, impressive looks. This is one of the best looking, highest quality faucets available, a great investment in your home.

Valves leaking after just one year. I strongly advise choosing a different brand.

Easy to install but I'm having similar issues to other users here. I've had this for 2 years and the hot and cold faucets have seized up. I looked underneath and the washers have rusted out. Also the drain's brushed nickel finish is already starting to wear out. This is not the quality I expect from a $140 moen faucet. I paid quite a bit of money for this to match my beautiful marble top but this is unacceptable.

This faucet was easy to install. Instructions was self explanatory. Love the look. Great product, highly recommend it.

Bought 2 of these, the plunger that pulls up the stopper is curved, way to close to the backsplash, so now we have standing water in the sink! Now we have to buy 2 more faucets, won’t be Moens!!!

I brought this product because of the style and look.

Excellent faucets. Great worksmanship and extremely smooth operation. Easy installation - allows for a wide range in placement of faucets. Kit includes all tools! (you may need wrenches for the water supply lines). Faucets look quite elegant on my new quartz double-sink vanity top. Only negative is that the pop-up drains do not live up to the engineering excellence of the faucets.

The direction in the box wasn’t for my faucet. I had to go on line for directions on how to tnstall.

Very nice looking faucet but after just two months of using the hot handle starts to freeze up. I am very disappointed. We bought the faucet thinking that Moen is a high-quality brand and expected quality product. Installation was very painful especially the drain plug rod. No more Moen.

Great design. Very classic. Handles easy to use. I chose the brushed nickel so it doesn't need constant cleaning. I've decided to replace my other bathroom faucets with this one.
