I unfortunately bought several of these. After only one season outside, they will not open without great difficulty (read hammer). These are complete pieces of garbage made out of cheap materials painted to look like a real lock. DO NOT BUY!

This lock is useful on a jobsite with many tradesmen. It allows me to lock out an area and give select personnel a code instead of keys hat get lost.
I like being able to change the code easily

Almost everything about this lock is first class. Use the lock to secure my clothes in locker at the gym. My only trouble is accessing the combination which is located on the bottom of the lock. Otherwise, very satisfied.
