I wish I would have gone to see it in person before purchasing. The design has a plastic enclave that makes it look really cheap. Bummer.

Was nice to start, quite. Replacing the adjustable racks for a second time for abit over $200 Canadian. Dish don’t always come clean. Would not recommend

Maytag 24 in. Top Control Built-in Tall Tub Dishwasher in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel, ENERGY STAR review: What a fantastic dishwasher! The door closes definitively. My wife just loves it and says she couldn't be happier. My favorite features are: 1) it actually works flawlessly, 2) it is really quite, 3) IT HAS A SPIN ONLY CYCLE OF 21 MINUTES!!! It is the best dishwasher we have ever had. Buy it; it is troublefree and a joy to use. There ya go!

I cannot believe how much of a difference this dishwasher has made to my dishes. Even dishes with some old food left on them came out sparkly clean with this dishwasher, after only ONE cycle. Anybody that is considering buying a new dishwasher, consider this one, it is very quiet in operation, uses the space effectively and works like a charm. The installation looked like it was rather simple, the longer part was the taking out of the old dishwasher. I could not be happier with my selection.

We decided to replace our dishwasher we had that was about a year old and a different brand with this Maytag model. When I received it, I notice it was heavier than the one we were replacing so I unboxed it to find it was fully metal instead of plastic for the tub. I installed in about an hour. Our dishwasher was hard wired which wasn’t difficult to connect. I was incredibly happy with the fingerprint resistant front as I had touched it a few times during installation and all it took was a soft dry cloth to remove them. I did the first load of dishes and through in a couple of non-soaked ones in and it cleaned them perfectly. The other great thing was how quiet it is when running. One plus is the ability to put pots in the top rack also. I would recommend.

I was expecting a quality machine when I got this Maytag dishwasher and it did not disappoint. I installed this dishwasher in my father-in-law's house for his birthday because his old one was broken and he is very pleased. Installation was relatively easy because I've done it before and this was a replacement so all the hookups were there. Besides looking good, this machine is easy to use and cleans dishes quietly and efficiently. It has a stainless steel tub and sprayer. It is so quiet that I can hardly hear it running. Great Maytag quality!

Ok the Maytag Dishwasher Mixed results here at our home replacing a 20 year old high end unit. First the finish , its brushed Stainless and doesn’t go with our other appliances and yes your finger prints show up . Moving beyond the looks The Top control panel when closed you can only see half of the information as the way it's mounted. The rest of the display is under the lip of the counter. The unit doesn’t sit flush with the cut out as our other unit. Im guessing set the unit while the door is open and don’t worry about it. The inside racks are light weight with no inner rack adjustability . The utensil rack is located on the right hand side of the bottom rack . If you have your sink to the right maybe not an issue loading on the left not so good at least in my case. There are no other locations for utensil basket like the door or the other side of the rack. If you however get the next model up it has a third slider rack on the top that can handle longer items like spatulas etc. As for the high tub its wasted space as the upper rack only has one setting which is about 2 inches leaving all kinds of room on to if you not putting tall items in the drawer . Hence the third rack on the next model up. This also compacts the lower rack from taller items . Being an energy efficient unit I was surprised to see a heating element as even my 20 year old unit used the heat from the wash to dry things. The stainless interior is nice , the door is tightly sprung and takes some pressure opening all the way to load the racks. As for the door opening you need to give a good pull which the door slightly bends until open. The door inset grab slot is plastic. I can see issues down the road .Performance is good we did two loads testing this out drys well washes well though the cycles are long being upwards to 3 hours. The unit is quiet but has a different sound print than the normal water sounds you get from a product as such. The insulation around the unit its not attached to well and care should be taken when pushing it in the slot. I removed mine after it was installed as I could see this happening being installed . By the way wasn’t expecting it to be installed. Well done by the vendor who said they only deliver and install Whirlpool products. By properly installing Myself the blanket made a little difference. Lastly back to the racks and hinges fully loaded with cups glasses the tracks tend to be wobbly when pulled out and bending in. The lower hold fine except it can come flying out when opened if you pull hard. If your in line for a dishwasher I’m not convinced Maytag is the premium brand form the past . If you have the bucks get the next model up with the third slider and should be happy getting something more modern and more useful. Since Maytag is built by Whirlpool of my recent trip to Home Depot you might get a better value with a Whirlpool. Not what is I was expecting but will defiantly do the job. Only time will tell.

I have not bought a Dishwasher in nearly 30 years. When I lived in the City, I ate out, and never used the dishwasher I had. Now that I live in the Country, I eat at home, but being single, do not produce a lot of dirty dishes. So, I wash by hand. My current home had no dishwasher, but figured if I entertain, I will need one ... I am amazed on how nice this is. Looks great with its hidden controls on top. When I opened it, first thing I noticed was how tall it is inside. Much more room than my old one. Also, the Stainless Steel tub. No more tub turning strange colors! I love the second sprayer under the top rack (see pic). It plugs into the water supply when the rack is shut (see pic). I like it so much, I am looking forward to having people over to show it off.

Couldn't be happier!!!! This new Maytag Top Control Stainless Steel Dishwasher is fabulous! It took me a while to remove the old on and install this, but I was taking my time so it would all go smoothly. The installation instructions were not great I will say that up front, and this mainly had to do with the brackets for securing the dishwasher, fortunately for me there was a great youtube video someone had posted and it was a breeze after that. The unit looks great and it is very well made, Which I expect from Maytag/Whirlpool appliances.After installation I ran a small load of dishes just to check it out, First thing I noticed was how much more quiet is was compared to my old GE. Cleaned perfectly and the dishes were spotless and very dried. It is so simple to operate. One other thing I want to touch on iis the ability to adjust height on top shelf its only about an inch but could make a difference, it has a special fold down attachment for stem ware glasses. Just an awesome dishwasher with a brand you can trust.

A full cycle takes around 2:34 which i thought was long. But once i opened the dishwasher i quickly noticed that my dishes were the cleanest they have ever been. I installed this myself. Was pretty standard. There was not that much space to hook up the water supply. I wish they had a quick connect feature for the supply line as well as the electrical hookup. The top shelf adjusts which is amazing. Very quite and very easy to use.

Perfect size drawers and utensil holder for our two person home. Maytag technician was absolutely great. Delivered early, removed old one and hauled away, and ensured installation was accurate and quick. Thanks to Israel.

Got this dishwasher 8-9-21 . Paid full price $1,000. We do one load a day. Today 3-21-24 or 955 days later it stopped. Gave it had an error code F9 E1. which means drain. Could not clear the code. Paid $127 to be told the part that is broke only come with the whole bottom piece for $650 plus install so basically $800.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is so low to the floor that it causes a backache. The door sticks out so far in front when fully open that it is in the way. The prongs that hold the dishes are too far apart...the upper rack is very awkward...saucers cannot stand in the middle because this section now curves upward. I hate this dishwasher! I've had Maytag for decades...never again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a great job in getting dishes sparkling clean however I have one complaint. This unit is MUCH lower to the floor so it is MUCH harder for me to open and close the door. You might think that's no big deal and maybe it isn't if you are younger than me. (I have a bad back) Bending down to the floor is difficult enough, then I have to bend down farther than normal to load and unload the dishes from the bottom rack. If the racks cold be raised higher, I would be ok with the trouble it takes to open and close the door. If I had to do it over again, I would not have purchased. I do not like to use this dishwasher and feel it actually makes my life harder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Model number: MDB7959SKZ I needed a new dishwasher in a hurry. The pump on my Whirlpool model had just given out. Chose the Maytag model by phone from an appliance company I have had a good history with. One BIG complaint from my perspective with this Maytag dishwasher: The sideways silverware rack is a complete hassle. It is much more difficult to get in and out because you must pull the drawer all the way out to remove it. It is difficult FOR ME to load in place, so I have to load all silverware, then fit it back in place before I load any other dishes. I find it makes space management when loading other dishes challenging; it feels like I have less room for other dishes on the lower rack. It works great, but I'll never buy one with a side rack again.

Our last dishwasher served us well for 15 years but I must say the new one is so much better - the dishes & silverware are virtually spotless, it is so quiet we can run it any time of day (or night) and not have to turn up the TV or close the door going to the bedrooms. We both appreciate the great job you did coming up with this model. Not a fingerprint to be seen as well!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my Maytag Dishwasher. I have owned a number of different dishwasher brands through the years: Bosch, Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid and 3 Maytags. Maytag by far is the best dishwasheraa. All brands basically clean dishes when they are new but Maytag has a hard food grinder in it saving time and effort of having to rewash dishes because rice or other food particles are still on “cleaned” dishes. Also, there is no having to dig food particles out of the bottom of the machine. Thank you for the Maytag dishwasher that does the dirty work for you.
