Rust
We bought this a year ago and while it has been good, we noticed that rust is starting to show where the steam exists the dishwasher on the left of the control bar. We reported this to Maytag and they do not cover this. This is not a good, long term investment as it is bad quality with no company accountability.

Sleek and quiet

Works Great!

nice DW easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it does the job well, simple easy to use. I didn't want lots of options this has just enough. Just wish it had a 30 min wash cycle. short cycle is an hr. with heat dry off. It is quiet but I can hear it running. The finish is nice not to shinny, close match to my different brand smudge proof refrigerator.

We still haven’t received a working dishwasher. It leaked after installation. Home Depot sent another team out 5-days later and it leaked again. We are now waiting 3 weeks for a new one to be delivered.

Not sure yet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently installed. The installation company had to come twice because of error messages and make adjustments. I have only used the normal wash and the quick. The fourth and fifth wash was leaving the load dishes and cups greasy. Now I'm trying the Power wash.and may have to call for service again. My old 20 year old dishwasher worked well but eventually rusted out. Happy to have a nice stainless steel one now.

Happy with what we got, so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get a replacement dishwasher from Maytag after our brand new dishwasher quit working after just over a year of owning it. Install was very smooth and easy, took 2 people about an hour to get put in. Very quiet unit, seems to be doing a good job with dishes getting completely cleaned. Full cycle is about 2.5 hours. I am very happy with the replacement thus far, fingers crossed we get past a year, but just a little tip, the extended warranty plans are for sure worth it!

Love Maytag Dishwasher
Cleans dishes well. I can actually run and have very small amount on top of glasses. To me that’s a win. I purchased the refrigerator 4 years ago and the finger print free SS matches perfectly. I rarely have to clean.

Maytag garbage product(s)
This is a complaint about Maytag dishwashers specifically the MDB795SHZ0 model and any model made with PLASTIC PARTS BUILT TO DISENTIGRATE over time (3yrs). Complete garbage product made to break and require repairs. And don't blame hard water, we live in the city its not an issue, previous dishwasher lasted 15yrs. I will never buy Maytag products again and you should be ashamed of the profit-driven trash you put into the marketplace and our landfills. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Good but small capacity

Dishwashing is so much easier now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very satisfied with the dishwasher's performance. It washes the dishes well, it has several options which can shorten or lengthen the cycle or one can choose the heat giving the opportunity to save, and the dishwasher itself is easy to clean. The one weakness is that the digital control panel, which is at the top of the door, is in a place that gets a lot of water and wear making the "buttons" susceptible. Sometimes they do not respond right away.

Awesome Dishwasher!

I like that the controls are hidden at the top. It has a smudge proof finish therefore fingerprints or water stains will not show. That’s awesome!

Top control is only one great feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for about one month and love it. The top control feature is nice as the front of the washer is solid with no control displays. The dishwasher itself is so quiet you can't even tell its running. There is no need for rinsing the dishes as the washer is powerful enough to clean dirty roasting pans. For overall performance we are so glad we chose this machine over the other ones we looked at.
