I absolutely love love love my new dishwasher!! I was coming from another unit the motor went out. And another one that was brand new that never worked from day 1. I exchanged that 1 for this one & I couldnt be more happier. But listen when I tell you this thing cleans like a grandmother washing dishes by hand..So yall KNOW this dishwasher CLEANS!! LOL. Since my previous Samsung never worked right I had dirty dishes with caked on food that had been sitting for weeks..I put those in with a little hesitation but boy when I tell you I was NOT disappointed!! It got my dishes clean clean...I so wish I had taken some before & after pics of my dishes & pots and pan too show yall.,Im NOT lying .,This dishwasher is A-MA-ZING!! All the features I was looking for, runs quiet & the inside is real stainless steel for a sleek look. Even got the stains out my plastic cups! The only con and its not really a con is that since the dishwasher is flush with my countertop, I cant really see the controls with the door shut..But thank goodness Maytag must of realized this because they made it so you can select your wash & dry options with the door open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this dishwasher! We've been in our house 12 years and have burned through 2 GE dishwashers (the last one only lasted 2.5 years). I hated our last GE one from the day we got it...cheaply made, dishes never smelled or came completely clean...hated it. Vowed never to buy GE again. This dishwasher is fantastic. It is very solidly made, the door is sturdy, the stainless is fantastic. The features on this are simple and clean. It cleans the dishes excellently and it is quiet. Love the minimalistic design of this and the small little light in the upper right hand corner (and the one the shines on the floor when dishes are done). As we replace our other appliances down the road, they will be Maytag too.

OH MY GOSH!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this dishwasher!! I was coming from another major brand that starts with S & ends with UNG...Never again with them! I exchanged that one for this one & when I tell you I could not be more pleased! I loaded the dishes, dirty as heck as again I was coming from another unit that was brand new but didnt work from the start so my dishhes & pots & pans had just been piling up with stuck on food. Well this dishwasher took care of all that! I loaded, no pre rinsing (except the big food stuff) added the detergent & rinse aid and let it wash! Its also quiet by the way. But at this point I could of cared less if it sounded like a fight at the OK corral as long as it cleaned my dishes and pots & pans! And clean it did! No matter what cycle I put it on all my dishes & pots & pans came out clean! Im so excited and I just cant hide it!! It has room for my plates and cups and pots & pans. The openings for the silverware and/or cooking utensils are nice & big and leaves you with plenty of room to arrange your items. And with the easy to adjust top rack using this dishwasher is Easy Peeasy Lemon Squeezy! The exterior of the dishwasher is nice. The stainless steel look is so elegant. But now the inside stainless steel finish totally blows the outside away! Its nice & shiny. Oh & in case your dishwasher is installed like mines, with the top flush directly under the kitchen counter, a BIG plus with this unit is you can make your wash selections with the door open and then close it and push start. So you dont have to guess what you just push because you cant see the buttons. I soooo look forward to doing dishes now! And will NEVER take a working, actually cleans your dishes dishwasher for granted again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our dishwasher about 3 weeks ago. Gets dishes very clean, even on the quick setting. The only thing I would change is the spacing for mugs/coffee cups on the top rack....our mugs do not fit.

I love it so much I bought the refrigerator to match!!

Washes well, but today, I wanted a setting other than "auto" and a 2 plus hour run time. I was rinsing new dishes and tupperware. There is absolutely no way to change the settings buttons and the instructions are worthless! On line help is worthless too as the instructions are pretty much of no help. I bought the new machine because the controls died on my last Maytag. I am going to be upset if I have faulty controls on this machine as well.

Very impressed with the product quality of the Maytag. Very happy with it's performance since having it installed a couple weeks ago. I am more impressed by the quality of service that I received from Home Depot and their contractors. The dishwasher was delivered first thing in the morning the day it was supposed to arrive and I received excellent communication from the company that was contracted to deliver the product. I was equally impressed by the contractor that did the install. He was very professional, polite and did a great job. Very happy with my purchase and with Home Depot.

Our new Maytag dishwasher is quiet and does a great job cleaning all the dishes and silverware. When the cleaning cycle is finishes the dishes are dry and ready to put away.

New unit leaks water at lower corners of door. Service technician sent by Maytag/Whirlpool seemed uncertain he could repair it. Unit returned.
