I should ave had something like this 10 years ago. Would have saved on my knees in the work I do.

Very ingenious device. Very durable and extremely handy.

The wheels work exactly as they should - smoothly even under hefty weight. However, the sturdy construction that makes this product high quality is also what makes it difficult to walk in after standing up. What I found to be a good approach was to leave the knee blades unstrapped while working at floor level so that as soon as I wanted to stand up, I could do so easily without even having to unstrap. Even unstrapped, the blades never moved from underneath my knees; I never had to re-position them. The gel padding is superb... very comfortable.

These are a really good idea! While tiling the bathroom floor, I realized I needed a different solution when the regular knee pads I used became more uncomfortable as the job progressed. Having to "walk" on my knees while moving around the floor fatigued my knees and back. Now that I have these kneeblades, it is MUCH easier to move from one spot to another. The gel padding is so comfortable against my knees. You can also remove the wheel part from the pads if needed. They are very sturdy! I can use them when cleaning or doing projects where I use the floor instead of a table. Also, I can use them as an exercise tool.... I can do leg and abdominal exercises by putting my hands on the floor and bending/straightening my legs out. These are pretty cool... Would recommend.

Save you knees! These "roller skates for your knees" provide much less wear-and-tear on your knees if you are performing a task in a kneeling position for an extended period of time. We have large areas of ceramic tile in our house- that means lots of grout to clean! The only effective way to clean grout is to get on your hands and knees and scrub. You kneel in these knee pads, strap them on with a velcro strap, and you're ready to scrub. The cushioning makes them comfortable to use and easier to use than a stationary knee pad that you have to keep re-positioning.

Just got these knee pads and they are quite interesting. If you are someone who needs to do lots of flooring or works much on your knees, then these will work really nice for you. Despite the label saying light weight, these are not very light. When you use the velcro tabs to hold them to your knees, you will definitely know they are there. But when you start doing that flooring or tile work, then these roller pads will come into their own. You can glide left and right, back and forth without much issue. I like how easily they roll. Of course if you then hit some soft spot on the floor or are working outside, you might just get stuck in the soft part and have to stand up to move. So for tile and flooring these are real nice, for much else these are not great. Have at the tiling.

My husband has trouble with his knees, but probably not a lot more than most people. He always uses something to protect his knees when he's working on the floor. A couple of weeks ago he was caulking and prepping a floor for paint and he was dealing with his pads, like stadium seats, which seemed awkward to me. So when I saw these pads, I got them for him. He's thrilled! They can be used with or without the rollers -- he tried them. It takes a little getting used to with the rollers, but he loves them!

These are very helpful for moving around on your knees. They glide across smooth surfaces (e.g. wood flooring), and roll adequately over uneven and soft surfaces (e.g. deck with slats and carpet). The gel pad and elastic strap are very comfortable (no digging into the back of your legs), and can be used separately from the casters. These are heavy duty, with load rating of 80 pounds per caster (they can support up to 480 pounds). Yet, it is their heavy duty-ness that is their problem. They each weigh 3.5 pounds. When you stand up, the soft elastic band barely can support them, and they sag from your knees. The other negative, they hit together when you walk. A 5 Star product, when on your knees. A 2 Star product, when you stand up. Since I got these for being on my knees, I removed the strap (tried tucking it under, but does not fit). They work fine without them.

Straps are soft enough not to cause any discomfort when you sit on your legs and straps are squashed behind your knees. Kneeling is very comfortable, even for hours as thick gel provides the best cushioning. Unlike many other materials gel will never get compressed from hours of use so I expect that those pads will remain as comfortable for months and even years. You can use those pads without the wheels but the revolutionary idea behind this product is to provide ability to easily move around without getting up. Pads click into the solid, about 1/4" thick plastic wheeled base. That base allows you to easily roll forward, backward or even 360 degrees around. It is very comfortable and well balanced and of course makes you mobile so you don't have to constantly get up, which is very tiring if you have to spend long hours on the floor. Apart from the comfort this product provides for the floor workers, I like that this product can be easily disassembled without any tools. That means that if any part would get broken you could replace it rather than be forced to buy the whole product. That means saving money for you and saving the planet for all of us. Disadvantage of this product is its weight. Knee pads alone are actually very light - 28 oz or 800 grams per pair, but the whole product is a bit heavy 6 lbs and 2 oz or 2750 grams per pair. It doesn't matter when you are on your knees but if you have to get up and walk, you need to remove the wheeled base. It is quickly done by pushing one button.
