The drill is perfect for the work I do

I first purchased this in a kit Oct. 2022, and had to get it replaced after about a month of very light home owner use. Milwaukee's customer service was excellent and promptly sent me out a new kit. A little over a year later, this replacement impact jammed up just like the last one. I was literally only driving in a #8 self tapper. Both times this impact failed, my previous gen finished the job without issue.

I needed a new impact for my garage when I work on vehicle projects at home . I have to be honest I was comparing three different brands which I won’t mention. I decided to get this little gem and when I started to use it I was in a state of shock and awe. I was very pleased on the torque it gives out and the compact design was perfect!! This tool with other Milwaukee tools for on the jobsite and at home have always seemed to surprise me with their durability and quality

As an electrician, this gets the job done and more! Ive had this drill for about 3 weeks. Love how quiet and powerful it is!

Working pretty good so far. 4 mode drive control is going to be useful. This is replacing my last Milwaukee impact that lasted over 5 years. Hopefully the new one will be just as good or better!.

Great compact tool with plenty of driving power.

Gets so hot after only a few minutes of use, it will burn your hand. Is bulkier than the gen 3. The power upgrade from the gen 3 is barely noticeable. After 4 months of daily use mine no longer works. I think it over heated. I am a commercial roofer, this job is extremely rough on tools but still, my gen 3's last at least a year to a year and a half. I love the gen 3's. I will never buy another gen 4. Over priced garbage.
