Not an easy find but HD had it in stock. I like the 25lb bags for ease of handling and emptying into my brine tank. Not many places have the smaller size bags.

A young man was very helpful. He loaded 4 25LB bags of softener into my cart and actually loaded them into my car. Very helpful.

Miss Morton WAVE salt blocks. Pellets are harder to handle and can lead to salt bridging.

We need the salt for our softener. We really like the smaller size bags because we're retired now and the big bags of salt are too heavy for us to carry down the stairs to the basement.

Morton quit making block salt a few months ago. That required me to buy an adapter for my water softener brine tank. This salt works fine but I prefer the block salt but after complaining to Morton, I realize, the decision to quit making is irreversible—live with it and move on. Morton doesn’t really have any competition so move on. My biggest complaint is carrying the salt from the retailer to my car then to my basement when home. The block salt was easier than these flimsy bags!

Very convenient 25lb makes hauling and dumping them much easier than the 40-50lb bags.

I love this 25 pound bag. It’s easy to handle. Unfortunately, I just realized that I ordered 12 bags and only got 9 bags. My problem!!!

Much easier to manage than larger bags.
