      A:  I've been using this salt for years in our pool. Works great. The pellets take a bit longer to dissolve, but I'll be buying the same for this season.

          A:  Thank you for your interest in our Diamond Crystal products. We do not recommend using the Diamond Crystal water softener salt pellets in your pool. The pellet size is too large. We recommend our Diamond Crystal Splash Ready Pool Salt. It is specifically designed for use in salt water pools in that it dissolves quickly and evenly.

That unit would need to be set up in your apartment building - connecting to the main water source - not in an individual apartment. We recommend reaching out to your building manager for more information.

While we do produce our water softener salts in 25lb bags, it is a very small volume and limited distribution. The best option is to reach out to your local Home Depot store to see if they carry the product in that size and if not, ask if they're able to stock some at their store.

                  Impurities in pellets.
                  pellets seen with impurities (dirt/mud), which caused my salt reservoir to be "muddy". Before, the pellets were completely white, good pellet form. Quality of pellets is not the same as in the past.

                  Best Water Softener Salt
                  As an ex-retired water softener dealer, I can say unequivably that Diamond Crystal Pellets is all I ever recommended and use at home myself. It's pre-washed and pressed into clean dissolving pure brine. It rarely if ever causes salt caking in the brine tank. It's simply the best!!!

                    I usually get this exact brand instore but decided to purchase it from Home Depot online. This cost effective Water Softener Salt works great in my ClearWater Systems and as good as the more expensive ones. It was delivered in front of my Garage as requested.

                      Quality became bad or inconsistent. Last batch I purchased made of dirty salt.
                      I can only guess what happened, but the last batch of 24 bags I purchased had unacceptable quality. It seems like pellets were made from a mix of salt and soil. Pellet's color has a strong brown hue. The photo is taken outdoor. A printer's paper sheet was used as a background to have the correct color balance. I like HomeDepot more than its competitors, but the absence of alternatives for softener's salt forces me to place orders for it with someone who carries Morton brand.

                        This is the second time filling up my water softener with 5 bags of 40lbs each of salt pellets. The water in the house comes out soft as expected. The dishwasher cleans better and no toilet rings. The only thing i notice is when the salt pellets are almost finish it leaves dirt in the water softener equipment, i don’t know if that is normal. Other than that it does its job.
