I like this because I can carry the 25 pound bag a lot easier than the 40 pound. Home Depot is the only place I have found the 25 pound

WIth the 25 lb bag, I like that I don't have to risk straining my back. I resent the cost premium I have to pay in order to do so. I believe everyone who buys this size does so, not because they don't need 40 lbs, but because 40 lbs is dangerous or impossbile for them to handle. The cost should be proportional to the 40Lb bag.

We prefer Morton salt to other water softener brands and are particularly pleased to see it packaged in 25 pound bags. Home Depot is the only store that seems to carry the smaller than 40 pound size and for the aging seniors, it is a blessing to heft the smaller bag. Might cost a bit more per pound but certainly saves on the back. A bargain deal!

I have purchased this salt for my water softener for many years in the 40 lb bag. As I am a female senior citizen it was becoming quite difficult loading and unloading these bags. I was very pleased to find that Home Depot now also carries this product in 25 lb bags which are much easier for me to handle.

Always buy the salt at Home Depot!

I purchase it because I can lift the bag. 40 lb.bags are too heavy.

Morton’s salt is from their mine in the US, so I trust there are no unwanted contaminants in this product.

As I have gotten more chronologically mature, I have found that lifting 40 pound bags of sald into the softener has become somewhat of a challenge. God bless Morton for coming up with the 25 pound bag.

So happy to have 25 lb bags available. I am a senior and have to rely on family to handle 40 lb bags. I can handle the 25 lb bags myself.

Per usual only one 40lb salt bag available and had to buy smaller ones to compensate. Please keep stuff stocked!

While being a senior I enjoyed the lighter 25 pound bag, but fail to enjoy the higher price for the same product that is in a 40 pound bag.

I’m thankful water softener salt is now sold in bags other then 40 pounds, 25 is much more manageable. I appreciate Home Depot carrying this product. It is sometimes hard to find! I stock up when I see it. Works great.

Like the smaller bags for easier handling.
