Excellent wifi router
The netgear nighthawk cable modem router works very well in my home. The signal is very strong throughout. Easy to setup and connect to cable. App seems very user friendly.

Superb Router
This router replace an Arris G36 that failed prematurely. Extremely easy to setup with the Netgear App or your cable providers app (I used the Xfinity app). I needed to reboot a few connected items but it's been working flawlessly. My home is 3000 sq ft and I'm getting coverage everywhere with no lag. One plus for me is it looks good so I don't have to hide it from view. Highly recommend!

Netgear Nighthawk CAX80
We love the Nighthawk routers. We needed something bigger and faster to accommodate all the gaming pcs. All 5 can be online and streaming/playing and there is no lag.

CAX80 - AX6000 WiFi Cable Modem Router
Having researched several combo modem/router, comparing technical specifications and capabilities for security, plus compatibility with ISPs, such as Xfinity, this unit has been a very valued purchase. While the Nighthawk app is not as efficient it works after a couple of restarts. The setup for the Nighthawk CAX80 - AX6000 WiFi Cable Modem Router was straightforward. I did have to call Comcast too register the Modem MAC address, as I was unable to get a good cell phone signal to configure myself. However, this was not a bad process as It allowed testing for ensuring full connectivity. Once I got the app running, I was able to set up full Admin controls plus setting up guest WiFi. The Nighthawk Armor works really well, so another plus. A quality product, fairly easy setup and highly recommeded.

Excellent NETGEAR product!
I couldn’t be any happier with this product. The range is great for the Wi-Fi and the speeds are through the roof! It accommodates my gig speed Internet with Xfinity with no issues you can have multiple devices connected to it to include a hard wired ethernet connection, which is what I use it for when gaming, I highly recommend this product NETGEAR is simply the best!

Impressive equipment
Installed my CAX80 several days ago and it's performing well throughout my 3 floors of my wood-frame house, and even outside. I might even return the extender I bought at the same time as I don't seem to need it.

Fast!
I immediately noticed an increase in speed moving to the CAX80. The WiFi has good coverage in the house. I also like that the modem and wireless router is in one unit, cleans up the space and cabling. The wired ports on the router was another key feature I was looking for. I would buy this again.

Good and not good
I am happy with the modem/router. Set up was easy but nowhere does it tell you that you must register the device with Netgear in order for you ISP to function. I spent a lot of time before finding this out.
