I got this Ryobi set on sale for $149, which is a steal. I didn’t know what auto feed means, but I definitely know now. I used all of my line within 5 minutes because the line kept coming out each time I took my finger off the trigger to RUN the weed eater. Of course, I’ve never edged before so I took my finger off quite a bit. I looked up a video on how to disable the auto feed while still being able to do a manual feed and it works perfectly. A pain in the rear, but eh; still worth the money if you’re willing to do a little bit of tinkering to improve it. The battery life on both the blower and trimmer lasts a long time and I appreciate the dual function of being able to weed eat and edge with the same tool.

I spend more time pulling, replacing line and line assembly than actually using it. It's OK as a trimmer but terrible as an edger. I still like my other Ryobi tools.

Lightweight and very powerful

Bought this Ryobi leaf blower for a family member. It was found to be used and broken when opening the box. Very embarassing. Nice job Home Depot. Now it's a road trip to nearest Home Depot to return this piece of junk.

I use this for more then blowing leaves. I use it to clean my work shop when i get through cutting wood and blow out shop floor. works perfect

Versatile trimmer. Love that its cordless and gives you the option to turn the trimmer for edging. One thing about it though is that its heavy. Your forearm will feel it.

So much easier than a gas powered one! Seems to last a while before needing a charge. My only complaint is I bought a 3 pack of new spools and 2 are tangled so until I unwind them and rewind them, they can't be used as the string won't come out more than about 1".

A nice trimmer, easy assembly. Cane with a stone dead battery, took WEEKS to get a new one through customer service.

Works well, not too expensive so I look at it as a good value. Does what it's supposed to. Previous reviews indicated that the string gets caught up in the spool and that seems to be true for my unit as well. The trigger and feed are difficult to control separately so that's the only negative I've come across so far in my useage of the device. Batttery charges quickly and holds the charge for a reasonable period of time. Overall, decent value for the cost.

Great product. Battery lasts a long time. A little tricky to assemble as there are no instructions. Flipping the head to do edging is also a little cumbersome. Still really like it though.

Unfortunately, I will be returning this item. Every time I use the weed eater, the string breaks at the spool which requires taking the spool and restarting. This happens every 3 minutes.
