I've been shopping at home Depot for the past 12:13 years and I've never had a problem with any of the products you guys are the best

Spray can worked just fine--a handy feature is being able to spray at almost any angle, as I was primering an aluminum and steel glass top patio table, and had to spray at odd angles to cover the bare spots. It'll be some months before I know how well it's adhering, but I'm also planning to use it to primer some spots on my Toyota's aluminum wheels where the original paint as peeled. We shall see...

Use as a primer for MDF with light colors. Lays down flat and even.

Two of 10 cans failed after just a couple of sprays. I guess they clogged inside. I always over shake spray cans. The paint works great. I just returned the failed cans.

I used the Rust-Oleum Professional Aluminum Primer spray on some cast aluminum patio that had begun to peel. I stripped them all the way down to the aluminum before using the primer. So far so good. It went on quite well with no problems and dried rather quickly. Important to note that with this paint as well as a lot of other Rustoleum paints you have an hour to put multiple coats on with about 10 minutes between but once the hour is up you must wait 48 hours before you paint again. If you don't do that you could have some bad results.

This is a very good primer for wood if you paint afterwards with a light color. White, yellow etc.

I had some aluminum pieces I’d previously painted after mildly sanding. The paint chipped off easily. With this primer applied, after removing the old paint and cleaning the aluminum, I was able to repaint/spray with the original paint and now I have a “permanent” finish. This primer really works with aluminum; very pleased

I used this primer on galvanized steel. Cleaned it really well and it covered it with ease. It's been two weeks outside with a coat of paint over it but it has been great so far.

Worked great. Really covered bad spots on aluminum shower door. Looks like it will stand the test of time.

Quality product at great price!

Went on easily, good coverage. Waited 24 hours and overcoated with black, no strike through. You folks need to wait for some time on paint reviews, this is #2 for me today. It takes time to determine how well a paint performs. All I can really point out is above, plus that after 5 days it has not fallen off or curdled.

The flat paint aluminum primer is good for priming furniture. It lasts a long time. But It could have been thicker to fill cracks and gaps.

I bought a 6" square tubular aluminum extrusion, 6 feet long to use as a modern mantle. From past experience I know that paint doesn't adhere well to bare aluminum so I bought this aluminum primer to prepare the surface. I sanded the aluminum with 320 grit wet or dry abrasive paper and removed all the metal dust. The paint can nozzle has a nice wide spray pattern so it was an easy job. I gave it two coats. I let it dry a day then gave it two coats of RustOleum flat blackboard paint. I'm leaving it all another week to get thoroughly set. Then I'll attach it to the wall using a long aluminum French Cleat. I plan to use this primer the next time I paint aluminum.
