Quality product. Strong and easy install.

Easy to install and very strong.

Really added the finishing touch to a stage facade my husband constructed for a local micro-brewery. He also used the Accents nut shape washers. Rave reviews on the finished product.

I built my back porch + stairs using this system. It didn't last a year. The fasteners are designed to look like 1/2" bolts, but are actually 1/4" screws. There are wings in the screw thread, near the tip, the widen the hole in the wood, making it more prone to loosening. These fasterners with the nut heads and steel plates made a great looking pergola/gazebo!

Worked great with the Simpson black powder-coated hex washers and the APT6 T-strap. Looks great on exposed cedar portico beams.

In the process of building a playground for the grandkids. This is the only thing I would trust to make it safe enough for them to play on. Simpson is a great product and have used many different brackets they make and I love them all. I have also built a structure, pergola if you will, over my koi pond. I would and have recommended them to others. They are very durable. They give the professional look to any structure. Most people look at what we’ve built and think we payed top dollar to have it installed when actually my husband and I did it ourselves with absolutely no carpentry skills at all. Simpson Strongtie made it easy. Planning on putting up a patio cover next and then who knows. Maybe a Kiddie Shack for the grandkids. Thank you Simpson Strongtie for making things possible.

Great innovative product again from Simpson. Be aware that this is one part of a two-part connection. The washer part of the assembly seem to be hard to get your hands on. (Be it from vendor stock par levels not being high enough or supply and demand) At the time of this review I've been waiting 22 days for them to return into stock. The structural screw isn't priced bad 52 cents each at the time of this review, but the hex head washer is steep for what it is ($1.64 at time of review) Take one of the gable plates in this series for example; the gable plate is a 20 connector plate. One gable plate itself is roughly $100 and you need another $43.20 in hardware to make the necessary connections.

ordered from another source because HD uses fed-ex and driver for fed-ex leaves our packages on street not at our address. so my order was stolen before i could pick them up. as far a product goes its very good, as far as fed-ex goes in our area the driver need dicipline because he or she cares less about your delivery. THE ONE STAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FOR FED-EX NOT HD

The Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents products really make the difference. They look great, are easy to install, the only drawback is the price. The hardware for my gazebo cost three times as much as the wood.
