Worked very well, my wife is very happy that you don’t have to wait for water to get hot at kitchen sink.

This system installed very easily and works very well. To accommodate the layout of our home, I ended up installing a total of three temperature valves; one at the far end of the house, one in the furthest upstairs bathroom, and one in the guest bathroom that is in a direction opposite of the other two locations. I also added pipe insulation to all of the accessible hot water pipes. I have the pump set to run for 15 minutes in the morning before everyone wakes up, and 15 minutes in the evening right before dinner. There is nearly instant hot water at any time of day! The longest we have to wait now is eight seconds for one of the showers. As others have mentioned, the cold water is affected slightly, however, in our case, cold drinking water is retrieved from the dispenser on the refrigerator. Also, I have not noticed an increase in the electric or gas bills, and the water bill has decreased about $10-$15 per month. Extremely happy!

Works as advertised. Gives “instant” hot water at the far ends of my piping. Only downside is that the cold water is not as cold as it used to be, but I’d rather have a hot shower than a cold one. Stops the need for running the water for 2 minutes before stepping by in. Had one question for costumer service and they were very nice.

I bought this to reduce water waste and to get warm water to the far end of our house more quickly. It does both. Over a year, we will literally save more than a thousand gallons of water and I no longer shave with cold water.

The most difficult part of installation was the thermal sensor which needed to be installed in my bathroom under the sink. This is the second time I have installed this recirculating system. Apparently my sensor failed and I replaced the entire unit, but probably could have simply replaced the sensor for a few bucks instead.

Our water heater is at one end of the house and the furthest faucet is at the other end. We always had to wait for hot water, especially at the shower in the master bath. We have a rancher and fortunately, the plumbing is perfect for this device. I had thought about doing this many years ago, and it kind of just fell off the radar. We recently had both bathrooms redone and I figure it was the perfect time. I think I have above average mechanical skills and have done some simple plumbing in my life. I installed this in less than thirty minutes and didn't have to buy anything additional. It works perfectly! I have the timer set to come on in conjunction with the timer on the hot water heater and that works well for our needs. I installed it a little over a week ago and so far, perfect! Additionally, I insulated the hot water pipes (was able to do about 95%) and that really helped. This item is highly recommended.

Hot water instead of five minutes

Kit was $220. $50 for proper supply lines. Hot water was pumped through pipes continuosly. Never got very hot water in shower or sink because water heater was always trying to warm up returned water. Gas and electric bills spiked. Had to wait 90 seconds for valve to close before cold water. Expensive to install and continues to cost more and more money the longer you leave it installed. I've never been more disappointed and frustrated with the money and effort I spent to only make matter worse.

Makes a knocking noise in the valve under the sink when a faucet is turned off anywhere in the house.
