It is exactly what I expected.

Called to find that I had a bad pump fan peroson on the phone had no idea what a pressure switch was and was tring to say I modified the pump by installing a standard square D presser switch. My pump sat in the box for over a year as I waited to have time to install. The pump was deffetive but since my year was over no fix. Just bought a Star Water Systems Self-Priming pump as the pro use. This pump has parts for every piece. The Wayne you can only repaire the seal and impeller. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

Very happy with this motor. Installation went very smoothly - electrical was no problem. The motor is also relatively quiet. Runs from 4am to 6am in the morning and is located right next to the master bedroom window. Doesn't keep us awake like the last 1 1/2 hp motor. Overall, very satisfied with the performance and price.

The pump runs great, I have no problems with the functionality. It’s keeping the pressure better than our old one. It was a bit more difficult to wire than previous pumps and not much room to operate.

The motor electrical connections are done using spade terminals similar to what is used in the auto industry. While they are easy to connect to, I would prefer screw terminals. They are much more secure and more capable of handling the high current.

Hope the 2nd pump lasts longer than the 1st.

Pump works fine and seems sturdy. My only complaint is that posts for power connections don’t come with nuts to tighten the leads down. Customer service recommended I use spade connectors but you need a 90 degree connector if you want to put the cover back on. Couldn’t find them at multiple stores.

Installed a month ago. Pumps more gpm and is quieter than the 30 year old pump it replaced. So far so good. I hope it’s longevity matches it’s performance. Was incorrectly wired at factory, but was quickly rectified when they sent me the wiring diagram.

The pump is well-built and seems to be heavy duty and is working perfectly. the only caveat I have is the electrical connectors in the back of the pump. There are no leads to tie into just spade or nut connections with almost no room to work. There were also no nuts provided on the connectors. I would ask Wayne pump to review the electrical hook up design and at least provide nuts for the connectors.
