[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for almost a month, and for the most part we love it. Clothes are almost always dry the first time and they dry pretty quickly. Only issue we have found is the steam setting, i thought it would be useful for when a dress shirt needs refreshed however if a single item is in there during the refresh cycle then water comes pouring out the door. Other than that complaint with the steam refresh setting, we really like the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty happy with our new dryer. Its appearance is nice and fits well in our laundry room. For the most part it dries everything well except mixed loads with jeans and sweatshirts. They could always use a little more time so I have to hang them in order for them to fully dry. I do wish the top of the dryer wasn’t slanted as my clean clothes baskets slides off when running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple selections and settings, it’s not energy efficient but I like how it has a modern sleek look and smart detection to determine how wet the clothes are to know how long to dry them. I like the buttons and not having so many knobs. And it gets the clothes dry quickly and has a light inside and my last dryer did not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew I should have bought old school used Kenmore washer and dryer. These new machines are junk and I should have trusted my gut not to buy new. This machine is used by two people and we are very gentle with it. Less than six months it’s broken and we are waiting on three parts to arrive. We have been without a machine for a month and a half now having to go an hour and a half round trip to a laundromat. I will never buy a whirlpool product again. Once this thing is fixed I will be selling it so I don’t have to go through it again when it breaks down in another six months. If anyone out there has a used Kenmore washer and dryer or a speed queen set, even better let me know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the set about a month ago. Overall,this is a good dryer. Large capacity is very helpful and the wrinkle shield comes in handy. The only complaint I have is the old fashioned buzzer sound when the cycle is complete is very annoying. Yes, it can be muted, but I figured they would have used a different sound or tone since we are so technologically advanced.

The sense setting is excellent, not once has it not dried the clothes completely on that setting and the wrinkle reduce setting truly works. This is the 1st smart technology dryer we have purchased and we are loving it. It’s only been a few weeks and only time will tell how well this dryer holds up but so far it gets an A+++

This Whirlpool 7 cubic ft. dryer with steam is marvelous. Simple design and ideal for a single to a large family. Fits sideways in a standard door frame. I have great appreciation for the large drum. It comes with a buzzer to alert when things are done, and a steam function with a water hook-up in the back upper right of the unit. This has 4 moveable feet to adjust your new dryer so it won't rock even on unlevel floors. There are 4 heat levels, and 4 timer lengths. This also comes with 12 different dryer selections, such as towels, less dry and heavy duty. Recommended installation clearance for this unit is, for recessed: Back-5", sides-1" and top-18". For a closet installation, Back-5", sides-1", top-18" and front-1". It runs rather quiet and the alert buzzer is a volume to which you won't miss a load. The door swings open on the front to the right.

I’m not picky. I needed a dryer to get my clothes dry. This dryer can’t even manage that. It’s been correctly installed in two houses since I got it and in neither has it ever actually dried clothes. It has the unique ability to somehow make clothes both staticky and also somehow still damp. The tech sent out because it was leaking horribly admitted to me that the “steam” function isn’t meant to be used for steaming. It developed a mildew smell that I cannot get out no matter how much I scrub.

I am very upset.Had a whirlpool guy come look at at it it needs a mother board.Now I have to wait…. It’s a good job we didn’t dump my old Samsung dryer . My husband had to hook it back up so I can dry my clothes. Very very upset. Why can’t I just get a new dryer?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sorry I bought this model. I do not like the sensor. It is quite sensitive and I wish I had bought that used a turn knob to start. The clothes did not dry well at first. I removed the attachment for steam because so much moisture was causing a venting problem. Once the piece was removed I have liked how clothes are drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the large capacity. Works well, however it is louder than my last dryer and maybe any I have ever had. My last dryer kept tumbling at a cooler temperature until I was able to get clothes out. This one stops, then after 5 minutes, runs for about 30 seconds and then stops for another 5 minutes. If I remove cloths after it sets for a couple minutes the wrinkles have started to set in. To start the dryer, you push and hold and the release. Years of pushing anything to start makes one expect to push and wait for it to start. I find I am holding it and waiting, and then remembering to let go to have it start.
