Purchased washer and electric dryer in March 2023. Around November 2023 dryer began making a loud grinding type noise, usually during cool down cycle. Warranty work requested and after 4 or 5 visits and replacing almost everything inside dryer, it continues to make this noise. Scheduled another service visit but this time the repairman calls and says since the dryer is now out of warranty( by about a week) if he can't find a problem he will charge for the visit. If he couldn't find the problem and has already replaced almost all the guts of the thing I cancelled the visit. Have sent message to Whirlpool explaining the problem and requesting a replacement dryer be delivered but have little hope that will happen.

I especially like that you have specific time for specific items, i.e., jeans, towels, etc., rather than selecting a time that could be longer than was necessary to dry the clothes. This is an energy saver, does a great job and is very easy to use. Not the least bit disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 15-year-old dryer (may this one make at least 10 years!) with this dryer. It has enough settings for regular use and many others I will only use once or twice a year, but it's nice to have them available. It is a solid and good-looking large capacity dryer. Minor cons: The top does slope slightly if that is important to you. It is quieter than my old one, but I was expecting it to be a little quieter. (sorry, I don't have dBAs to compare) The hose for steam was not included which makes no sense to me. Luckily, the delivery company had one on hand.

If I use the wrinkle protection feature or the antistatic feature, the clothes come out with wet spots If I use the timed dry feature, the clothes come out badly wrinkled. If I use the normal setting, the clothes are still damp after a very long time in the dryer. I miss my 20yr old Whirlpool dryer that did a great job till the day it died.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice dryer, works good. It has a plenty of options for all kinds of clothes you would need to dry. I would say it's a five star dry, great price. Only reason I gave it four stars is it is noisier than other drys I've had.
