Thank you for Your Question. In general a bag of Small White Polished Pebbles would weigh 40lbs and has approximately around 57 pebbles / Bag. Thickness varies from 3/4-1 1/4 of an inch. Sharpie markers can be used to mark the stones, however they will stain the stones and maybe hard to clean.
